    Yep. Something like nine (recalled by heart from NPR's radio segment) FBI agents witnessed the murder and saw the guy who did it, but NYPD never took statements from them.

    Getting caught concealing exculpatory evidence will spoil convictions every time.

    Did the original murder investigators deliberately ignore a strong suspect they had identified – a Nation of Islam “enforcer” named William Bradley – because Bradley, or other suspects, were police informants?
