I already did. That there’s no criteria of making the finals for the team to have your jersey retired and it never has been.
So tell us why his number is retired. That was an implied directive, jack ass.

Implied by what? He went to the playoffs?

Say exactly why his number was retired for frame of reference.

Not because he led them any team success that’s for sure.

And how would I know why they retired it. You said teams retire players numbers for leading the team to success since the beginning. I disagreed.

So, you're just throwing sh** at the wall and hoping something sticks.

Have a little more conviction in your argument next time.

Jim top 5 all time. One of the greatest peaks, if not the greatest.

Bowen was one of the best perimeter defenders of all time. And his defense on Wally Szczerbiak was legendary

I thought you’re pretty dumb for sniffing Jimmers ass all day and can’t sink lower. But you just did.

I’m surprised you seem to take pride in not being able to read the simplest of points. And somehow you think it’s something you should continue to harp on. Sounds like a Jimmer fan material.

Should a ring be a prerequisite for having a number retired though?
Gervin never rang. Do you think he belongs in the rafters?

Thank God the Spurs didn't rush to retire Kawhi's jersey. Shows the difference in the two franchises, tbh.

It wouldn't bother me if he wasn't. Honestly, I do have a hard time stomaching the idea that he is ahead of Manu and the like when I see people do their Spurs rankings. George never won anything. Manu was a warrior.

But do you not think 11 years of being the man on an under developed team is not more significant than stat stuffing on a loaded team and choking for 7 years?

When Kawhi is no longer a threat as an opponent I can see the Spurs giving the #2 to some random player.

    ...

Yea, retiring the number of a player still in the league is unsettling, too. The fact that it's Harden makes the Rockets worthy of all the sh** people say about them.
