I don't buy into the Jordan hype 100%. I think in a fair league and in a world that Len Bias doesn't die, he gets one ring maybe. But anyone can lose one on one to anyone just about.
The best part of Jordan losing to a middle-aged business man is Damon Wayans making fun of him later on. Please watch this video from the 3:02 mark:
Wayans: "How you feel?"
Jordan: "How I feel about what?"
Wayans: "Getting humiliated."
Jordan: "You get dunked on, you get crossed over. It all happens."
Wayans: "But at your own camp!?"
Jordan was trying to act like "It's all good, we're just friends fooling around", but anyone who knows 1% about Jordan's insecure personality KNOWS that Jordan was really like this and wanted to kill Damon:

Jordan was that good but I also don't worship at his altar...Bron had a chance to surpass him and a case can be made for Bron or Kareem as GOAT. I pick MJ but don't feel a convo can't be had ...
And no Mike wasn't gooing 100% he wanted to win of course ...but stop it.

One can tell this by where Jordan is after he hands him the ball. He backs off inside the circle. If he was going all out 100$ he would have crowded him.
Still an excellent move and banker by the guy. And yes Jordan was most definitely trying to D up on him during the shot.
But again, the inbounds Jordan was not 100%.
if anyone has ever played basketball you can tell MJ is using 5% here. Id say 1% on defense.
He could've went much harder. All the same, anything can happen in a game to three.
nm the dude travelling everytime he got the ball and Jordan could have easily swatted his into the crowd.
No doubt there was a side bet and Jordan was in on it.
Rare unearthed clips of the 1993 Finals
Reminded me of 6th man Jet Terry clowning on Lebron in 2011.
Very similar.
JT is better than any Sun not named Barkley
Come on man. Kevin Johnson was like the Iverson prototype. The guy would have been one of the greats if he listened to Eddie Johnson and started stretching before games.
KJ was injured in 1993 and yet Jordan couldn't guard him tbh
Jordan couldn’t guard quick guards even with ref help. That’s why Isiah Thomas regularly chewed up and spat out the bulls until stern made it impossible for Detroit to guard them.
He couldn’t guard KJ, couldn’t guard Iverson. Hardaway, the list goes on.
That’s one of the things Jordan will struggle with is guarding those quick guards when there are so many of them. But I’m sure the league will cook up something for him with him leading the league in offensive fouls drawn.
But then that would mean a world without cocaine
