Taking a stand against voter suppression = MLB and corporate boycotts
What voter suppression in GA? I don't see you crying over the more strict state of NY but whatever.

If you weren't obsessed with skin color yourself, why would this bother you at all?

And when you say 'culture' what exactly do you mean? Assimilating WASP values? that's not going to happen.

By consuming American modern culture/politics (which is being mixed) and attending College here.

When I am in foreign country these thoughts go away.
but you’re in a foreign country when you’re in America since you’re from Poland.

Because racism is bad and Wokeness fuels it

What you're saying is wokeness makes racists get uncomfortable and come out and say it. Don't see how that's not a plus.

Racism has been socially shunned for quite a while, and rightly so, despite the small pause we had the last four years.

I considered this. Multiculturalism allows for iden y politics.
Everything allows for iden y politics, if that's your thing. Nationalism divides 'patriots' and 'non-patriots'. Fascism divides strict adherence to officialism and criminalizing opposition.

I would argue the opposite: Multiculturalism tries to break down racial divides, as a byproduct of mixing cultures. That makes the hegemonic-values crowd nervous.

That would be his viewing audience. convince people to stop watching him.
Do you wanna the free market to just cut him off? Someone is making money with him in place you fckn moron.
That's true in a broader sense. And in fact that may be saving his bacon that he is one of the few TV personalities that people tune in / tune out for.
But generally speaking, these people are quite disposable and much of that by design.
Nonetheless, the industry has shown that they will sacrifice short term cash cows for their long term agenda; so CB is still at risk.

Wokeness encourages people to focus on race/skin color. This is contrary to the material I was taught in liberal arts courses 10 years ago. A change occurred during President Obama's tenure.

Why? You can't get beneficial treatment if we are created equal and united.

Nationalism divides nationals and non-nationals. Seems like a rather common sense divide to me. You are lesser until you become a citizen of the country.

Your argument is an interesting one but I don't think multiculturalism equals a mixture. Maybe regionally but in the scope of America as a whole it is just a nation without a common belief or ground. A better example would be French/German approach which seeks to integrate and take on certain aspects of other cultures while still upholding their foundation.

    Let's recap

The system can be racist (systematic racism) but the system can't fuel racism.

Not really. As a matter of fact, you can agree or not with wokeness, but if there are specific places that have a fixation with race/skin color that's the south, and predates however old the woke movement is.

Which really is the point. Wokenes and PC makes those people uncomfortable because they need to ditch their racism, and don't want to.

Nationalism divides nationals and non-nationals. Seems like a rather common sense divide to me. You are lesser until you become a citizen of the country.
False. The type of more hard-core nationalism (not quite neo-nationalism, but almost there) you find in some parts of this country doesn't treat immigrants, even legal, as co-nationals.

And the notion somebody is 'lesser' because they have or not have a paper that says so is not common sense, it's absolutely stupid. There's people that have been here for 10-15 years that didn't get an option to become a citizen, that are much more 'American' than a dude that's been here for 3 years and got a green card.

Your argument is an interesting one but I don't think multiculturalism equals a mixture. mul·ti·cul·tur·al·ism
    noun
the presence of, or support for the presence of, several distinct cultural or ethnic groups within a society.

Mix of cultures is exactly what it means, and unlike most Euro countries, America has been pretty much put together by immigrants from all over the place and their cultures. You have the Italians, Irish/Brits on the East, the large Asian and Hispanic population on the West, predominantly Hispanic to the south.

Multiculturalism in Europe is also growing because it's frankly inevitable when you have such a disparity in power, education and wealth from the big cities to the farmer in the middle of nowhere. It's a huge divide, and as the economy moves more from manufacturing to services, it becomes an untenable position if you want to give your family a future.

THERE'S HIDDEN EVERYDAY RACISTS THAT NEED TO BE EXPOSED!!! THAT TOTALLY JUSTIFIES ALL OUR RACISM!!!
What do you mean by "our racism"? That makes no sense, tbh.

Fortunately a lot of the racists did come out of the closet the past 4 years, so they're easy to spot and socially shun again

I agree that is how it was until recently. For example Oakland passing law to help support low income families, but only certain skin color. The proposition on the ballot in California recently attempting to implement skin color on job applications and College entry paperwork. These are changes meant to categorize and divide us by race. I don't see anything like this in the South today.

    The rest is

I think America was the model to follow in the changing world until recently. I think it will work itself out and find a middle ground.

When I am in foreign country these thoughts go away.
BS racism is rampant in Eastern Europe.
They take a knee before champions league and premier league games as players of color are continually harassed in most of Europe.
Try playing in the Russian, or any Eastern European soccer leagues as a black and they give you the whole run down on what you will face if you play.

Everyone is gonna face some risk. If the dude was not watched he would be gone.
But the guy is very popular and he can be funny because he is somewhat of an idiot imo.
They asked him to point to Argentina on a world map and he grudgingly put the point somewhere in the middle of Europe.
But he can be funny in his ignorance.

Its more likely his time will come simply because he is old and fairly ignorant and people will no longer find him amusing.
His gregarious personality will wear thin and go away. It happens.

Funding didn't come from government on that Oakland program, otherwise that could open the door to discrimination claims. It's just too easy and popular nowadays to rile up useful idiots with clear skin to make them think they're victims of something or another.

Plus, there's absolutely nothing wrong with targeted help toward minorities (which normally end up closely delineated by race, unfortunately). This country has had programs like affirmative action since the 60's. The reason they exist is to combat actual, measurable discrimination towards such minorities, which present itself in a mul ude of ways, from socioeconomic disadvantage, to longer sentences for the same crime, to inability to obtain an education on par with their wealthier peers, etc.

That's why the whole concept of reverse discrimination or victim card is extremely phony. I get that certain whiteys don't want to lose their privilege (heck, I enjoy it very much while it's there. Despite being hispanic, my euro lineage and looks bought me a membership card, tbh), but from that to pretend you're being persecuted by dem black or brown folks is simply ridiculous.
