Without a doubt last year's team was worse

This spurs team is too small and just not good on offense. Theres talent and promise on this team but they don't have a true star and that really kills them.
Of course they are, the team has flat-out quit. The team last year was trash throughout the season until COVID, this year's team was playoff-calibre until the Rona.
When you keep getting smashed on the boards, makes sense to downsize your lineup
Also I don't see how anyone can say the effort isn't there. They're trying. They definitely haven't quit. They're just easy to defend and too small.
