Game day. Back home tonight to face off against a struggling Miami Heat team who is also banged up and will likely be missing a couple starters, including Jimmy Butler. Prob another Spurs win tbh.

I don’t have a good feeling about this game due to it being at home. But I hope we can get this ship righted

If either of Jimmy or Adebayo missed this game, it’s a Spurs victory imo.

What?!! Half the Miami team is missing, including their biggest star? And what?!! The Spurs are playing at home, riding a two game winning streak where they crushed both of their previous opponents, including the number 2 seed in the west, on the road??

Sounds like a loss in the making to me. Miami 118 Spurs 111.

I don’t think facing 3 undermanned teams in a row is a good thing bc it’s not a real challenge and can lead the team to a false sense of security but I think the youngsters are hungry enough to not waste the opportunity to take advantage of Miami.

I don’t see this as a trap game, more like a game they’ll crush it again if the team remains with their hot shooting (looking at you White). Maybe some of the other shooters can get themselves going. I’d hope to see Vassell in.

Spurs have a bad habit of slacking off in games like this, which is hilarious considering they arent good enough to ever be thinking they have a win in the bag.

I foresee the Spurs getting an 8 point lead early, thinking they have it in the bag, and ting the bed the entire rest of the game before going down 10 in the 4th and making a comeback in the last 3 mins that ultimately falls short as DD bricks a midrange fadeway to tie it

The Suns had their full squad, which made the beat-down all the more impressive.

True. It was the Spurs that were “undermanned”... things are starting to blurrr... but I didn’t watch that game so I forgot... The trap was on the Suns.

Anyways I don’t see the Spurs as falling to that trap here... but the danger is there after this one for me. The thing with facing a bad team is that unless someone truly unexcepti Has a career game they can’t come back if the Spurs play well defensively which I hope they do at least... I’d like to see them shoot well too.

Good point about the Suns. They were probably not expecting much of a fight.

Our team just sucks at home this year. And it appears to really be tied to effort. Hopefully that changes this evening.

It's honestly disgusting that I had flashbacks to more than 3 different games reading that

Phantom with tha bomb. No longer a trap game. Still winnable and more of a challenge though.

Prefer they play a full strength team. Not sure why people think playing at home against an undermanned team means the Spurs will automatically win considering it's been the exact opposite result all year.
