Portland isn't extending the $7M qualifying offer to Zach Collins, officially making him a free agent, source tells ESPN.

Collins on the cheap, not a bad signing. Big questions is health.
Even Patty and Rudy could be sent out in a sign and trade with all the interest that's coming from teams above the cap. They would probably want them to sign for a tax-payers MLE though, but it seems like there's plenty on the table for the Spurs. Just don't this up Brian Wrong
IDK Getting Dragic would make one if White or DJ more expendable for more upcoming trades.
However, I'm calling it that most likely this FO will do nothing and fluffers will defend it saying there wasn't anything available while a bunch of other teams somehow did something as per par..
Maybe we will get lucky on a left over washed up vet no other team wants..
This is getting old lol

The Brooklyn Nets did not extend qualifying offers to guards Chris Chiozza and Mike James, league sources told @hoopshype. Both players will enter the market as unrestricted free agents.
It would be interesting if they can reap something out of his draft rights. Wouldn’t it be something if the trade that nets them a small asset is Milutinov and not Demar or at some point back, Aldridge.
Id love for this to happen. He was never going to play for the Spurs.
At the media pretending Lowry is going to swing the balance of power in the league because he played for one of their pets (they'd barely know he existed if he played here).
The rare times he decided to play last season, he appeared to have lost a step and even if he was just coasting, the Heat would still need a quality modern four to have a path to championship contention (Gay makes sense, but isn't good enough).
As usual, the Raptors are probably going to get lucky. Hopefully the Heat draw the line at Dragic, Achuiwa, Okpala.
The Clippers offer would probably be Kennard and Beverley. It'd be in bent on them to find a third team to take Beverley (possibly Pistons into cap space for top 55 protected 2nd).

Uncle Dennis & Nephew about to pull of the greatest heist ever on Ballmer in broad daylight.
is he joining the special olympic team?
This dude is not maximizing his earnings at all. What is he doing?
Maybe he's going to Knicks for a medical staff that understands his *feelings*
He's leaving if that's true...
I wonder if Kawhi's camp has concerns about his recovery from his current injury and the kind of player he'll be in a year. If there is a decent chance that he opts in and it becomes clear he's not worth a max extension, then maybe it is preferable to lock a new, but less lucrative, four year deal now.
This. He’s going to fleece some stupid franchise. My bet is on New York
I think so, same with Paul but for other reasons. They can securize a better and longer contract now.
It could be a tacit acknowledgement of being damaged goods at this point. What are the chances he can actually produce at an All-NBA level for all 4 years of the contract?
