This is so predictable by Pop... You g player has a great game, they get benched the next... I keep telling ppl that's y many of our 3rd and 4th year players are inconsistent like rookies... Their development becomes stunted... It's psychological torture... Ppl think I'm exaggerating when I say if Luka was drafted by us, he would be a mediocre player even in his third year... He probably still wouldn't be a starter

    Spurs @ Pacers, 1st Half - A Haiku

    Where the
    is Devin Vassell?
    On the bench.
Doesn't work - a Haiku structure is 5-7-5, and that's more like 3-5-3. I liked the break though in the second line, I'll keep it.

    Let's rework it:

    Where on Earth could be
the great Devin Vassell? Oh --
    Still glued to the bench.

Crazy to think we could be at least a 5th seed if it weren't for Pop's delirium based coaching.

Pop won't be satisfied until he Neuters our whole young core. It really disgusting and I can see most of them wanting out soon if not this off-season.

And yeah traditional haiku is taught as 5-7-5, but the rhyme with and Vassell was too hard to pass up.

Haha yeah, I was wondering whether it was too pedantic of me to even make the correction in the first place, since you never implied it was a traditionally-styled haiku. I tend to at least prefer the syllabe format stay consistent when creating them, though - gives you a clear challenge of wit and formatting, while not being too restrictive, considering the numerous short words in the English language (it's significantly harder to abide by the syllabe count in Spanish, for example, words tend to be quite longer).

We should start a haiku thread tbh, I'd be down to write prose on Pop's rotational negligence

Same people saying Luka getting benched for Gay is good for his development. Something something Parker benched and yelled at...

I totally agree with you you about Luka. Pop has every young players on a leach. The last rookie of the year for the spurs was 24 years ago Tim Duncan.
