What if CIA Pop gets super drunk again and has a mishap which causes him to be unable to coach the remainder of the season?
We could have the lineup that blasted Phoenix reinstalled and make a run.
Pop’s not the drunk, RC is.

We’re going to be 10th. Nobody behind us wants to move up, and, being unable to handle a press combined with a zone, we won’t be able to move up. Other teams watch film, and you can count on us seeing that again, and not just from Miami next time.
True however maybe pop can adjust and we find a way to win you just cant predict the spurs this year

He only needs to make one adjustment and hasn’t done it all year. Wishing for a play in to watch Patty and Rudy chuck away one more game is pointless.

I assume whatever the worst possible scenario is, the Spurs will end up with that. They'll barely sneak into the play-in tournament, lose miserably, and get the tiest draft pick possible. Then repeat for the foreseeable future.

Ok so there are 14 games to go. Spurs schedule is strong, but some of these teams might be locked into their seed once we play them, so they might rest some players. Then again we've lost games all year against underhanded squads. I really don't see them winning 7 out of 14, so 10th or 9th seed it will be

    That's what Pop deserves

Bottom Line Up Front - BLUF:

    1. FO is a farce and has been 4 years +
    2. Pop is a HOF coach but semi-retired and no longer has a crew of top tier assistant coaches
    3. Team is badly constructed - too many wings and a center who cannot stretch the floor
    4. Making even the play in would then be an accomplishment but next year will be a re-run or worse as they lose another star for nothing most likely.

I'd feel bad for the Nuggets if they had to play healthy Lakers in the first round. If only the Lakers were to drop a few games and end up 6th, so they had to nuke it out with the Clips...

I think Dallas has a real chance to knock LA to a 6th seed if the can beat them again tomorrow. Dallas has a cupcake schedule after that.

Pop will act like the Young guys got a lot of valuable experience by losing that play-in game against Golden State

Spurs shave 2 off their magic number tonight to guarantee them a spot in the play-in tournament. They’ll head to Washington with a magic number of 8. #GoSpursGo

    Blazers look done.

Their fans want to ship CJ out for a star forward. That might help balance their roster.

GSW has a ridiculously easy couple of weeks. Face Minny, Houston, and OKC twice, plus Dallas, which is a toss-up, and NOP twice, who have a terrible 3-pt defense.

magic number is 7 now to clinch a play in spot

Denver beating Memphis would be nice tonight.

best case scenario would be to finish 7th or 8th along with Portland if they can hang around. their defense has been trash all year but now their offense sucks too, they look about ready to lay down and die tbh.

avoid Memphis, avoid Golden State, beat Portland needing only to win once, get matched up with Phoenix first round who i think we can take to a long series if not beat outright

Memphis going to lose. However, they have the tie breaker right? So it wouldn't be good to have the same record as them at the end of the season, they'll still have the higher seed in that scenario.
