I'm for literacy, math, and science.

    No need for indoctrination.
    No history, then?

Isn't passing laws to ban certain approaches to the subject matter a sort of indoctrination, too?

You haven't made your case for CRT.
I'm not arguing for it, I think conceptual approaches to subject matter should be left up to the teachers.

You're the one arguing against it, yet you refuse to define it.

    In fairness, no one has.
I told you why it should not be needed.
but you dont want truthful history or government taught, so maybe some states take it up because of the the students have been fed. "Oh the slaves had a great life out of Africa..." are you fckn kidding? Cause FrostKing is not.

If a teacher is indoctrinating students, the solution is to can the teacher, not to ban his theory.

    Not really.

CRT is just one of myriad approaches to subject matter, it's not my place to dictate to teachers what or how they should teach.

Otoh, you seem to have no problem banning this or that so long as it's disagreeable to you.

What do you mean? How many times we've talked about America's racist past, founding fathers owning slaves, etc? How many times we've talked about white privilege, racial disparities in the dispensing of justice?

That you keep brushing it off doesn't mean a case wasn't made.

why do you need quotas if we treat people the same BEFORE, for example, we interview them, and then after we interview them.

    Are blacks naturally inferior intellectually?
Mentally inferior no. Culturally yes. Left argues racism has hampered them. Regardless they are less likely to finish school and inner city public schools are low quality. I just think racial quotas is too stiff a policy and diminishes those that earned it without help

Do you understand that ethnic groups have changed throughout history with migration and immigration?
You are a proponent of keeping ethnic groups separated?
I'm saying the white male population (especially straight) is dropping in proportion. Some industries dominated by this demographic will have a worker shortage. So I think there is some truth to that argument.

How Brussels wants to make your shopping woke
A futuristic shopping spree shows how the EU hopes to hold companies responsible for human rights and environmental abuses throughout their supply chains.

You’re strolling down the aisles of your supermarket, and every item you see is responsibly sourced from A to Z.

You can rest assured that your Argentine steak didn't cause deforestation, or that your zucchini were picked by farmworkers who are treated fairly.

This is Brussels’ plan, at least in theory. The European Commission is set to unveil draft legislation in June to compel all EU-based companies to take responsibility for human rights and environmental abuses throughout their supply chains — the so-called due diligence regulations. The European Parliament in a report in March said this is needed urgently because EU-based companies haven’t been active enough in preventing supply-chain abuses — only 37 percent of EU businesses conduct the proper due diligence, according to a Commission study.

Id woke is any idea coming from "the left," then it's a catch-all, like I said.

Does "woke" have any specific meaning?
To me woke is stereotypically young and black-american. Usually very anti system/government/establishment & traditionalism.

Please define what part of the black culture you dislike.
And be very specific, or else you will find out that culture is the culture of poor populations surrounded by wealth.
And exists in many ethnic groups. Be careful.
Would you want to kill blacks if blacks gathered up your white forefathers and made them slaves? Or it would not be a part of your history and you would just move along and join the black culture?

We filled it quite well in science with people who wanted out of India and China. Many are female. Whats the problem, we got better candidates elsewhere? And if you dont think basic science does not drive industry you have a very big misunderstanding of technology. We dont try to turn iron into gold anymore. There is very little forethought to your arguments that rely on white males. Because ultimately thats who you think should rule. You start with that need, and then search for evidence.

Good News!! A safe space has been created for OP!!

    ~10,000 people live there.

Baker City, OR went 75%/25% for Trump, the chance of a woke emergency there are approximately zero. These people either got the vapors or wanted to see how easy it is to get on Fox News.

Conservatives are so easily pandered to, now you can get time on the #1 conservative propaganda network and blame "cancel culture" when you face consequences for using performance enhancing drugs.

In trouble? Just select from these buzzwords and 40% of the country will instantly side with you:
    "Wokeness"
    "Cancel culture"
    "Socialism"
    "Leftism"

this bid for information usually goes one of two ways: ignored or elaborately danced around.
