Bitter loss.
He wasn’t really all that old. I wonder what happened?
RIP to Mr. Eaton
Had some kind of accident on his bike. Supposedly not involved with any vehicle or anything, wonder if he just fell off it or hit a curb and got flipped into the street.
Sad to see though, always liked those 80s Jazz teams with Stockton, pre flopper Malone, Eaton, Thurl Bailey, Darrell Griffith, Bobby Hansen, Frank Layden, etc.
That 88 Jazz team should have qualified for the WCF, but you know, Lakerrefs…..
Much better than the 97 and 98 Jazz teams the Bulls faced in the Finals tbh
made the Jazz defense good. Malone wasn't well known for his defense.
Sucks, died too young.
.....and they took it hard in the circa. They were ready as a group and would explode in unison on the bench whenever Magic would waltz thru that lane like he was apt to do then. But the referees held fast in the ranks and we of course persevered.
They-were-pissed.
Yea, it's pretty laughable that the side with geriatric Kareem prevailed.
They kept Eaton in foul trouble on one BS call after another.
I just remember as a kid looking at his card and being blown away by his block averages. RIP.
Only decent jazz player ever
No stroke. Or heartache ?
thanks for the info.
crazy stuff man.
Bradley and then this. Something about 7'3" plus Utahns on bikes this year.
No killed commit by illegal at boarder ? No toothache ?
Why do images of Forrest Gump go through my head whenever I read a Ducks post?
