does Milwaukee really take its time at the Free Throw line ... i was pushing the forwarding button on LP but I really had the feeling Giannis takes a minute off between FTs ...

Any team that hits outside has a big chance of winning. Not rocket science. This team was compe ive early on when Mills was hitting threes, then he dropped off a cliff in production and none of the young players are volume shooters. Hard to win without an arsenal.

Good write up and thanks Timvp
Good to see the guys get a good win against a good team. I thought POP should have pulled the trigger intermittently, and started slowly getting the 3rd string guys in to give the main guys some rest at about the 6 minute mark, since the starters need it. But overall no complaints.

Great win. It’s always the games we expect our guys to get stomped it seems like

Lonnie on IG in a photo with Devin: "Fam for life"

    These guys have strong chemistry

I don't see Lonnie going anywhere

Pop outcoaching a coach who has all of his flaws

The Bucks missed a ton of open shots as well

Giannis refusing to shoot anything that is not around the rim

Lonnie looked really good, hopefully next year when demar leaves he becomes option 1 or 2 on offense

Patty finally playing a scrub who is scrubbier than him

Two guys who usually kill us, Patty and Rudy, both played well and what do you know it was almost a wire to wire win...

Vassell's pull-up game is what will take him to the next level

Three things to work on this summer:

    1. His handle
    2. His strength
    3. Finishing

Vassell will likely see his usage go up next year and the only way is less Mills, less Gay, or less DeMar. When I say less, I mean hopefully none.

My distaste for Demar derozan is reaching irrational levels

I watch a game like last night and all I can think is “imagine if Demar was off the floor right now”

    - Thanks for the grades TIMVP.

    - My only question is: Why can't we show up regularly like at 80% of what we did this game?

    - I've already stated that we are a better team than most people think, even without DW.

    - Something is wrong behind the curtains...

Definitely a selective tank this season.

Front office wants to have their cake and eat it too.

Dropping the team precisely between a play in or playoff run and the best possible pick while still doing that run.

There are financial considerations that must be factored in, this is reality.

Bucks are pretenders, it's an ok win, nothing amazing. We just made the threes that the Bucks so wholeheartedly let us take, they are trash defensively. Giannis was developed by the wrong people, he was unlucky, you need to have luck in your early days as a rookie. If Kawhi hadn't come here i'm pretty certain he wouldn't have become who he is today.
As for our team we're still going home in the play in, another lost season in terms of lottery chances, it is what it is.

Bucks always play like that - they pack the paint and let other teams shoot 3s, they're bottom 3 in 3PA against.

There's not much you can take away from this game. Just a fluke three point shooting night from one of the worst three point teams in the NBA. If we could hit 17 threes on 60% efficiency every night, we'd have the best record in the league but those kind of shooting numbers are unrealistic.

Bud and Pop teams leading the charge in giving up the 3 ball.

I don’t think that’s a coincidence and with the personnel the bucks have that’s kind of surprising to me.

Not at all. Spurs are 8th best in preventing 3 point shots.

It's not about personnel. They choose to play this way, they were bottom last season and they had the best Defensive rating by far despite of it.

Tall order to expect Fatty/Rudy to shoot a combined 9/15 from beyond the arc again
