What a shocking half yet we still in it. DDR needs a big half. But he has no space to operate because of Spurs three point shooting. Spurs need to answer Valanciunas and needs Dieng to draw him out. Spurs need Walker to hit shots to create some god damn space.
    Irony at it’s finest…

I don't know why people are surprised Derozan is playing bad. You think this dude wants any part of playing lebron james if the spurs win? Derozan spent his entire career in the east being lebrons pre rag . I expect him to do everything to lose the game in order to not play lebron in a win and get in setting

Definitely not joking when I say the Big 3 in their current state/shape give us a MUCH better chance to win.

He's ball watching because we were getting killed on the boards.
If JJJ is just going to camp on 3pt line, might aswell put Demar on him.
If he's concerned about boards, the way to remedy that is to box out his man. Since JJJ is not the one killing the Spurs on rebounds, it's someone else. He should stay on his assignment, while someone else on the team isn't doing a good job helping Poeltl rebound because they're not boxing out. I haven't figured out who yet.

We're losing this game because of my boy, Keldon. He's ball watching like crazy and leaving JJJ wide open on multiple occasions. Was hesitating a lot and making boneheaded drives to the baskets early on. Hopefully he picks it up in the second half. His play has been embarrassing. A lot to work on this offseason for him.
Down seven, well, it could be worse. As long they don't sleepwalk through a quarter again.
Murray and Johnson came to play. Gay takes kinda dumb shots, but it's how he is, at least he plays with effort.
Pretty much everyone's doing their job well after that bad start, except one guy...
Lonnie has been just as bad a DeRozan and worse than Keldon. Shooting 1 - 6 from the floor and being practically invisible ain't getting it done.

Only 24 minutes left in the Gay DePression era. Thank god, GTFO.
I think we win this actually. Spurs have been getting bailed out a lot this season with their play.

I don't care how poor he's shooting, he's playing like he wants it. Invisible is hardly the right word for his play. There was a play early in the first where DeMar passed it to Keldon and Keldon passed it right back. DeMar SCREAMED at him. That's not the right at ude to play with in an elimination game. Keldon did play better in the second. Lonnie... the shots just need to go in. I remember games during the season where he would be invisible... this game isn't similar to that.

Dumbar stans continue to blame everyone but him. If he has no space to shoot, maybe he should have developed a 3 point shot like every other star in the league.

    Patty Mills +12.
More a reflection of how terrible the Grizzlies bench has been, (the same happened against GSW). It might be time for the Grizzlies FO to get them a veteran scoring presence for next season. Their bench rookies aren’t ready for this.

Sorry bro, the data does not match your premise... seriously. The youth movement is NOT ready yet. The Spurs are in the game because of the push from the 2nd unit, lead by Patty and Rudy. Walker IV has been dreadful. I like the energy from Keldon, but he is very porous of defense, he is not playing smart. Dejonte is the only one that I liked.

this game shows you that the Spurs are basically starting a bunch of average NBA bench players

Just a reminder, in his first year in SA, Demar shot 1-10 in the first half of game 7 against the Nuggets.
