It was stupid for him to be out there playing with that lead and stupid for him to keep throwing his body around on fake fouls

If Davis is out or below 80% Chris Paul's injury is meaningless tbh.

The Jazz have no offensive superstar, no one to adequately defend S bag or possibly even George and don't have a switchable lineup either.

They're too good and the Clippers are too much of a joke to expect anything less than long and close, but in the end it'll be Clippers by default.

Hopefully the winner of Bucks/Nets stays healthy or this is a wrap.
Where does Donovan Mitc rank in scoring off the top of your head?

This is what I mean. It’s spurs treatment all over again.

“by default” - what, like when they choked against the nuggets last year up 3-1?

These second round series are going to be insanely compe ive and people already have the Phoenix/Clippers WCF playing out in their heads. Jazz and Nuggets can easily compete.

Spurs sat Duncan when he tore his in '00. I can't see him coming back for the playoffs.

Is that the same injury Duncan had in 2000? If so I hope the Sixers FO doesn't jeopardize Embiid's career by either pushing or allowing him to play this post-season. Duncan is a prime example of the benefit of looking long-term.

One less team to stand in the way of the Nets and Clippers.

I don't know or care since it's irrelevant. He lacks the efficiency to be considered a superstar.

The Spurs had a legendary player/core capable of turning back the clock in spurts and were on another level in terms of basketball IQ/continuity as well as desperation, considering their advanced age.

Sure, but that Nuggets team had and has an offensive superstar, who exploited a mismatch. A loss like that also generally helps a team in the long run.

    Compete? We're talking about winning.

It's pretty much up to Giannis and the Bucks now, otherwise the Nets are cake-walking to the Finals.

Time for Coach Bud to show his mettle -or not.

If he gets NetReffed out, well then nothing he can do.
If he gets outcoached that will be very sad.

Carlisle going with Boban and Porzingis in the starting lineup. This is a gigantic twin towers.
