I dont think he's one of the best coaches in the NBA, but it will also not be his fault that the Bucks will fail. Its pathetic that the 2XMVP of the league hasnt learned how to shoot the ball in 8 years in the NBA.

I'm not convinced Coach Bud is head coaching material. But, then again, what do I know?

I still want Dantoni. Run and gun 3 ball system would be fun to watch with this youth rather than watching Demar/Dejounte iso ball.

How many times has Coach Bud led his team to a top 3 seed in his conference? Led his team to the conference finals? This is something he has done over and over again with multiple teams—the Hawks, the Bucks. Everywhere he goes, the guy wins.

I would be thrilled to have him back on the Spurs.

He wouldn't be the worst option if you aren't expecting a championship, which this team will need a miracle to even get close to again. Spurs need talent more than a head coach.

There probably is some sentiment for sure but, just because a particular fan base wants to get rid of someone isn't a good reason to mark him off our list. I look at what he accomplished in Atlanta with limited talent, I look at how much better Milwaukee was under him than Jason Kidd, and I look at how he runs an offense that gets good looks for his players. I think he's a top tier coach but that'll only matter if there's a FO that can accentuate his coaching by getting the type of players he can maximize. I don't think Milwaukee has done that. I'm not saying they haven't tried but they haven't given him the type of shooters he needs to play alongside Giannis.

Ehh....maybe. I think we could prop up Becky to coach from the sidelines and not be any worse off than utilizing Bud.

My bigger concern is the FO and the player moves we make...or don't make. Our slow and steady approach may need to be shook up a bit.

If Popovich retires, coach Bud should be number 1 to get. A terrific coach that’s proven. Not some u proven like everyone else wants.

Would take him as an assistant, but his HC tenure has shown him to be a regular season coach.

That said, he will probably get another HC job if he gets booted out of Milwaukee....probably by some team that would be happy to just make the playoffs.

people attached to a familiar name. If you haven’t watched bucks games, go ask a bucks fan what they think. Bud pushing back on Pop 10 years ago does not make him the anointed one.

Would it be ironic if he came here and actually won a le?
