It is funny watching ESPN/NBA desperately try to market Chris Paul as being likeable.

Van Gundy calling out that the Suns targeting Brent Forbes.
What any smart team would do.
You can't play Forbes for more than two to four minutes at a time.
Try to sneak in a couple threes and get him out.

Thought we might have a game on our hands after the Bucks got this down to seven.
    But it's over now.

Meh, Paul was damn near 50-40-90 this year.

    And Booker is extremely talented.

Very nice 1-2 punch - short lived because of CP's age, though.

99 Spurs were pretty weak imo. Maybe weaker than this Sun's team. Their perimeter players were crap and only rang because Krause wanted to be a moron and Ewing fell apart.
99 Spurs were far from a weak team. Twin Towers were dominant and would've probably would've been a team that finally handed Jordan a Finals loss the year prior if D-Rob wasn't so insistent on being the man against Utah. He accepted his non top alpha role in 99 though. 99 Spurs mandhandled Shaq/Kobe in their four game sweep. That's what made Phil Jackson's asterisk talk especially sad. Ayton is a solid big by today's standards, but he could not single-handedly stop The Twin Towers from carving them up.

I would compare this version of the Suns to the 05 Sonics that the Spurs dispatched in 6. Would 99 Spurs have had an issue on the perimeter without a guy like Manu to match up offensively and a guy like Bowen to match up defensively, maybe. Bigger Spurs nerds than me would have to weigh in on how the Spurs did against high octane offensive teams.

The Bucks offensive execution was dreadful.
Having a guy like Tucker starteing is cute & quaint, but you can't have it. You have to score, or, the confirmed (in the books) potential to score, or, they won't guard you. The Suns, behind closed doors are overjoyed to find him out there like that. Then outside the closed doors..."He's the wild card, we respect all the Bucks, but Tucker is particularly troublesome. We've sat down as coaches and with the players as well trying to troubleshoot him. We'll just have to see."

But you ain't gonna stop the Bucks from doing it. Then in the off season, he'll be quietly dispatched up/down the road where somebody else will latch on to it.

Bucks have to get this game or is over. They are not coming back 0-2 with a gimpy Giannis and no real offensive plan.

It depends on what he can do against CP or Booker or the other smaller wings. He's in there for defense. If he's no better than the next, then get more offense in there.
He's good against the taller wings who like to take guys into the post; but that's not who the Suns are.

Gonna be interesting to see if the Bucks are a different team at home.
The first two games, they just couldn't keep up.

Bucks were chasing and not reaching in both games.

I expect the games in Milwaukee to not be easy.

And the Bucks may just run away with one.

Oh, (just noticing) Scott Foster on the case.
Bucks got this. I probably shouldn't even bother to watch.
He already blew a Clippers game last series.
He won't let down his Jew master a second time.
He probably got his ass chewed out pretty good.

Drafted eleventh overall in 2019; so, not too big a surprise.
