Surprised that he'd be a conservative since he's always tried to be kind of a wigger. But I guess ever since his rap idols like Kanye / Lil Wayne came out for Trump now he's just following suit

Cole Beasley. In his Dallas days he'd do rap albums (mostly Wiz Khalifa covers IIRC) in the offseasons, he kept lobbying the Cowboys to be an outside receiver/deep threat (he's not - but he was a diva about it), and his wife is half black.

Yeah, Cole sucks. He can live however he wants, but if he wants to do it while playing in the NFL, he'll have to follow the rules. His en lement is absurd, as is his belief that the NFLPA isn't doing what a lot of players want in having the restrictions. Say what you will, but most NFL players have been vaccinated. That clearly shows they don't share his anti-vaxx skepticism. Obviously some do, but the NFLPA has to balance the interests of all their players, not just the vocal minority.

    Stupid post.

The heart inflammation thanks to the "vaccines" is disproportionately happening in YOUNG ADULT MALES, i.e. the entire NFL player demographic. And this is permanent. Far inferior to the chance of a young man actually getting seriously ill from the coronavirus itself.

The main issue I have is that the side effects of the shots can be long term and lead to a shortened life, especially in arguably a human's most vital organ, the heart. And it happens mostly in young adult males. Can't sacrifice the young to protect the old, i.e. the coaches and owners.

It's not called freedom any more than thinking you can walk around naked in a store. Corporations, like all other private individuals, do get to determine terms of service/engagement. They can't make Beasley get vaccinated, but they can totally restrict how he interacts on their property and during the hours they are paying him. This is no different than a dress code, except dress codes aren't politicized.

I don't think what I said had anything to do with an anti-vaxx talking point. The point was that the NFLPA has to represent all players, and if player want COVID restrictions or agree that it's what should happen to play ball, then the NFLPA needs to listen to them rather than blowing up the deal to protect Beasley's feelings. He's not more important than everyone else, and he has every right to retire or sit out if he can't handle the COVID restrictions as is.

He shouldn't be forced to forfeit his only source of income because he refuses a shot which as a millennial young adult male the risks outweigh the reward. That is fascism in its most evil form. It's not like there's another league out there to compete with the NFL and it's not like he can just seamlessly switch to basketball at 5'9". Yes I understand he's made enough money in his career that he could retire, but that's not the point... what about a player in a similar situation who's a high-achieving mid-round pick still on a rookie contract? Those guys definitely aren't rich enough to retire.

It's not like the smallpox, meningitis, polio shots etc. Those anti-vaxers are a different breed. But this particular virus is very benign to most people and appears to have quite possibly been a partisan cook-up from the beginning.

I also note on the political forum how "BigPharma" has mysteriously vanished from boutons_deux (the resident pinko communist)'s vocabulary. Hmmmmmmmm.... I wonder why.

600,000 American deaths, (yes I know many of them were dying or close to dying anyway), millions worldwide... all blood on the hands of Fauci and the CCP.

This happens all the time. You're right in a sense because the NFL does have an anti-trust exemption that means he can't just get a job with another compe or. But the same could be said for plenty of things still get required without this commentary. It's just that vaccines -- especially this one are politicized.

Not getting into the anti-vaxx then, but the reward in this case is not having COVID restrictions while playing in the NFL. He can pick his friends (playing in the NFL) and he can pick his nose (his vax status), but he can't pick his friends nose (force everyone else to share his vaccine beliefs). That's not and has never been something he can do. Freedom is a negative thing, not a positive thing. He has a freedom from being forced to take a vaccine, not a freedom to flaunt vaccine guidelines against the wishes of the players union and league.

As I said, more sympathetic to the anti-trust part of the argument. If we wanna talk about how ty capitalism is, I'm here for it (or rather, I'm in the political forum for it). But if we're not, then NFL players aren't forced to play in the NFL. Just as players can lose money for being overweight or miss out on game checks for legal acts that nonetheless are considered "conduct detrimental to the team", there are freedoms players give up in order to play in the NFL. This is one of them, and Beasley can complain, but he can't legit expect to have his view override others, and the way he's talking suggests that.

I also note on the political forum how "BigPharma" has mysteriously vanished from boutons_deux (the resident pinko communist)'s vocabulary. Hmmmmmmmm.... I wonder why.
I have to imagine Boots hates Big Phrama as much as he always did. If anything, the vaccine business just made them look worse. We just aren't seeing how ty they are because the US gave them a blank check. I'm sure in a few years, it'll come out how many billions they stole behind this pandemic.

You can't force someone out of a career over a personal choice that is also a health conscious one given his age and gender. Again, this pandemic was a cook-up made in a lab, and yes the pharmacy companies stole trillions in dirty money over it, but it's undeniable that humans are to blame for this happening to humanity.

I'm not an anti-vaxer at all, with regards to actually naturally occurring diseases like meningitis, hepa is, polio, smallpox, shingles, measles, et al. Heck I got the Gardasil shot way back in my teens when it was fairly experimental because I understood the risks of HPV and testicular cancer and other cancers. That was 3 rounds of on a deltoid.

But no way in am I going to take this man-made experimental vaccine for a man-made pandemic virus that was a (successful) partisan plot to defeat Trump and reduce the power of the USA.

I will fight to the death in support of anyone who is threatened with loss of career/employment over a personal choice on not to take a politically controversial shot in the arm. For one thing, it isn't medically safe for the young, and for another, it's a slippery slope... what's next, the Big Tech-opoly forcing everyone in 2050 to inject themselves with a GPS mind-altering microchip or be enslaved? This past year has been the fast track to dystopianism, and it's clear on which side is to blame for all of this.

No. Corporations don't get to dictate medical procedures for individuals. That's why they're operating on "mandates" and not enacting this stupid sh** into law.

And in the second place, NFL has a higher threshold to meet given that it's a natural monopoly. They're ing with Cole Beasely's right to earn his full market value.

5'8" 135 biatch, it's on all my legal do ents..

I was compe ive on the basketball court (pick up ball, definitely not my best sport in actual compe ion lol) against motley crews which mostly included black dudes 6' and up to 6'6", back in my day. I'm sure I couldn't run now because I haven't played a pick up game since the fall before COVID but that's whatever. I was also compe ive in football and even played on JV in high school, and in college played on the club flag football leagues and averaged about 2 touchdowns on offense and a pick and a half on defense a game.

As far as being afraid of black people go... I've been naked with and had full on sex with 4 of them in the past 7 years. Though, none of them have had a , each one of them has been about my height or taller. And I've dated about 10 others that didn't go past first base. One of those was in Mesquite, Dallas and she is 6'2" and a former NCAA basketball player. That one did go to first base but didn't go further because I found out she used to be bi.
