Labissiere hasn’t shown diddly squat
Vassell is so gasssssssssed
Really poor condition into the SL
Labissiere hasn’t shown diddly squat
it looks good when he curls to the freethrow line and gets a catch and shoot. Clearly needs to work on those off the dribble pull ups, but that's exactly what he should develop next, so good to see he's working on it
Vassell playing great. Now if he could only hit a 3
Primo is confident shooting and that’s the second 3 off the dribble?
Primo def has no problem putting the ball in the hoop
Ok guys getting too many 3s and missing… sigh Somebody take it to the rim!
there's no reason why Forbes should get minutes over Primo, but we all know he will
Good decision by Vassell to drive there on the switch. I liked that.
No.
I don't think they're related.
I dont think that would happen in any other team tbh. Only the Spurs,
Unfortunately, the Forbes signing means Primo will spend all of next year in G-League purgatory
That is one wet jumper, tbh.
Primo has absolutely been impressive… just 18 years old. Good call GM Wright!
Primo with 17 points. Natural scorer
Primo looks great, and soo does devin. Color me happy
Again no trouble putting the ball in the hoop. Spurs can use a confident scorer with range
This was a growing up game for Primo
That was a fun game.
Primo should be entering college as a freshman this year.
Only got to watch the second half, but damn, I'm officially on the Primo bandwagon. Amazing half from him. He makes really quick decisions on the ball, especially for passing - the rest of the Spurs' shooters' cold night robbed him of a couple of highlight assists on really crafty passes. And his shooting's as good as advertised, he was making shots all half, even in crunch time. That kinda poise and calmness isn't so easy to find on 18yo's... Kid's got a good set of tools to work with.
I think the criticisms on his first step are warranted, but kind of overblown. People ITT talking about it like he couldn't blow past a high schooler, and it's just not true. Especially with his craftyness-based game... Guy ain't no Slo-Mo. His handles need work but are really advanced already, especially those cross-leg moves, he's really good at throwing the defender off the loop. I see a lot of broken ankles in Primo's future - and not his own.
Vassell, I liked less of. Clearly forcing things, but that's SL for you. I didn't watch enough of him to give a fair assessment, and given he'll have his time in the NBA unlike Primo this season, I'll wait to see what he does against elite compe ion before passing judgement. The takeaway I got today is that he really likes, and can sink, midrange shots. Someone's gotta carry on the DeRozan legacy, after all...
Son of a ,im in
I like Desmond. There will be some great battles… lol he gave Vassell and Primo their due.
