think he had a concussion. should be ready by vegas. looking to see if he's made a leap. usually guys who have become good enough to be NBA rotation players crush it in summer league. so far vassell has disappointed, maybe tre can be the difference maker

Like what i saw from Primo and Vassell

Vassell is forcing his game, having the ball a lot and playing like a team first option. That's far from his role in the NBA but he will have the benefits of that aftewards.

Primo made some waw shoots for me, considering his age, first games with the spurs... still some work on the handle, some decisions but i really like this guy... looks special.

it's not foot speed, it's the lack of speed on his first step meaning he ccould struggle to blow by his defenders in the NBA. The jury is still out though

I agree on this.. its kind of…I’d say burst.. the twitch. Dejounte had super burst, very noticeably in SL. He had no handle, high dribble horrible shot, but he was so incredibly quick… one step and he was gone. The good thing about SL is that bc of compe ion level, some of these things stand out more.

his shot never looks crisp to me. its a weird motion and kind of slowish. not all college shooters translate to the pros. not to mention he was like a 70% FT shooter in college, so definitely not a pure shooter.

compare it to like... mcdermott's shooting form. for all his issues, his shot is crisp af
