Hopefully Trae is ready for Vegas.

Primo is a smooth, kinda reminds me of Shai Gilgious Alexander.

Slept through the game. How'd the guys look?
Primo showed his potential. I dont think he's NBA ready with respect to his ball handling yet, but he's definitely got game and confidence. He's going to have to be a lot more crafty to overcome his lack of burst.

Vassell looks just like last year.

Wieskamp is invisible. Doesn't seem remotely active enough off the ball for a shooting specialist. He could learn a thing or two by watching some Belinelli tape

    Thanks Bro.

Kinda worried about Wieskamp. If he can't get open, he's not gonna stick in the NBA.

Was hoping Vassell would show deep shooting. But Primo is something to be really happy about.

To be fair to Wieskamp, his game would benefit playing along better players who can actually collapse the defense and get him open. But he has to do a lot better of a job of getting himself open too.

Just two summer league games but I would love to hear the draft experts that criticized the spurs for taking Primo at 12. Bill simmons and Ryan Russello drilled the spurs on their podcast and totally clowned them for the pick

Buy the time he can drink a beer. Primo could be really good.

Pop may even play him by then.

Many spurs pick have been that way. Once the dust settles 9/10 spurs find something useful. Even in my disdain of the pick tony parker 2.0 rung in my head. A player nobody saw coming but eventually shines bright

It’s just one game, but Im impressed how he controlled the tempo of the game. He might not be the most explosive, but it felt like he was forcing everyone to play at his speed.

Primo has modern NBA moves. He fine tunes his moves a little bit more, and we have ourselves a top flight scorer.

Primo is a confident scorer, no one that we have, maybe Vassell. But Primo is more natural at getting in his spot. He needs the NBA body, but he’s just gonna get better as I’ve heard and mentioned before. He is a student of the game and quite a gym rat.

It’s a rookie trying to learn the pace of the game as a ball handler. I wouldn’t he surprised if he’s taking his time with most of his touches to gauge how quick or how slow he should go. It’s possible there’s more to his speed but he doesn’t want to drive to the rim with reckless abandon like how most rookies do.

Exactly, the pace he plays with you cannot teach. The absolute youngest player in the league but has an incredible feel for the game at this age, you can see how he passes and then rotates to the open spot perfectly.

Put this kid with the big dogs this season and he’s going to flourish, he could have had at least 3 more assist if Skal wasn’t absolutely terrible. Did RC and Pop do it again? Who knows but this pick is a uva investment, his stock has massive potential, even physically he looks big boned I think he’s going to be a beast in a couple of years he’s for sure going to grow. 5 years from now and he’ll still be younger than DJ is now.

Insane. He looks more natural pulling up for 3 than DJ does now. you can't teach.

Primo shaking hands with the refs at the end of the game was a nice touch. Classy kid.

The kid’s like the bball equivalent of Benjamin Button. Nuanced and intelligent beyond his years.

    My only criticisms so far:
    - Ball security
    - Lackadaisical passing

Everything else has equaled or surpassed my expectations thus far.
