Or even at Spago in Beverly Hills, you know, where people, waiters, make $120,000 a year. But I cannot find them.”
So they make that at one of his most upscale restaurants in Beverly ing Hills. Maybe there are other jobs in BH that pay well and don't require you to work nights and weekends kissing ass for a bunch of superficial bags.

Or, if you're ducks, you probably think they're making more than $120K from unemployment benefits and that's why they won't come back to work.

Puck, who's net worth is estimated at $90 million, points to issues around immigration as part of the reason why he can’t find skilled workers.

“I think the government really should loosen up and have cooks come, if it's from France or Italy or from South America or wherever, so we can get the workforce up to par. If they are professional, why not get jobs? And then they pay taxes, and everything will get better,” said Puck.
This quote is how I know ducks didn't read the article he posted.

The worst was waiting tables for the after church crowd in Abilene, Texas. Endless water and iced tea refills for a party of 25 that tips you a total of 10 bucks because tipping is "extra."

it's hilarious that restaurant owners who fired millions unceremoniously because they couldn't make money last year are shocked to learn that money motivates potential employees too, and that they must compete in an open market for their labor.

it pathetic how the media is centering the hyperventilating of owners, but entirely expectable in a country that has become accustomed to abusing and underpaying workers, while mindlessly adulating wealth.

    Classic right wing hypocrisy.

If it helps YOU, it’s a handout.

If it helps ME, it’s a basic necessity for a civilized world.

Dollars to doughnuts 's isn't a publicly traded company whose shareholders would punish them for offering a living wage and benefits to burger flippers and cashiers.

And somehow, their most expensive burger is $4.

Can't just blame corporate en ies for keeping wages low. Plenty of independent owners are penny pinchers too. They'd rather and moan about government handouts than pay $100-$200 more per day for labor at a decent hourly rate.

then maybe that household making 120k should live a few miles away to a cheaper area like beverlywood or west side of la cienega heights. LA is massive, and if you are prepared to drive an additional 10+ miles you can live somewhere much cheaper (relative to LA)

Not blaming corporations or valorizing family companies, just pointing out that activist shareholders have leverage in labor relations; they can can tank the stock to put pressure on management to keep costs down.
