That’s clearly the biggest surprise so far in this draft. I believe he will be traded so I guess that’s a strategic move. If not, well I trust the Spurs with their choices, but the backcourt is definitely overloaded…
This kid is going to be hated way more than Bryn Forbes ever was.

Seriously, you could draft Begarin in the 2nd and have at least as good odds of getting an nba player.
Been saying it for 5 years now...This FO is garbage.
Wright and RC were drinking a lot of Hennessy tonight. That's my only explanation. Even if he turns out to be a great player, how do you draft a 2nd round pick with the 12th? For what? Like you could've traded back if that was the case or aquired a higher 2nd round pick. This FO is dumber than I thought and I think they top of the line dumb
Now I actually wish we would had drafted Kispert
What is Wright thinking with this pick. A second rounder at 12.
This has Pop written all over it... He always does something that's extremely unconventional so that if it works out, he looks like a genius... It has yet to work out
For you younger guys that didn' live through the Spur dark ages from mid 80s to late 90s with cluless ownership and incompetent front office moves, and losing......welcome to the nightmare.
Anybody that still defends this FO.
Rick Barry said someone must have ed the nachos in San Antonio when they picked Alfredrik the Great, so seems like he was expected to bust.
Why not trade down? Even if this kid is good, noone else was taking him before late first round, could've had another pick, smh. And this has to mean there are trades to be made, right? Fifth guard on the roster without Patty and Keldon is the only wing. But as per usual, they'll just send him to Austin and act as if nothing happened.
John B salivating with Primo's big hands.
we got our new Bryn Forbes!!!

Oklahoma City is trading the 16th pick to Houston, source tells ESPN.
Let's look at the bright side: Cousin can't be as disappointing as Vassell was, could he?
And the thing is he won't touch NBA playing time his first year... Maybe not even his second
He wont even see the floor in his rookie year. Just what pop and co. Want
Me: "Anybody but Kispert"
Brian: "Hold my Capri-Sun"
Spurs front office got so used to drafting in the 25 to 30 range during the Duncan era that they never learned how to scout or draft lottery talent. Embarrassing to waste a 12th pick when they could easily trade down 15 spots for this scrub.
