I'd love the Westbrook deal to go down and Demar to sign there for the MLE tbh

Shams and Woj are both confirming the Lakers/Wizards parameters for the Westbrook to Lakers deal. Sacramento back to square one over where they could move Hield. Buecher has said that Westbrook would stay if Beal stayed in DC. Beal is dragging his feet, but if Westbrook is leaving, Beal isn't far behind.
Beal is leaving. GsW and others back to the phones.

After all of that crying about Durant being disloyal & joining a superteam, Westbrook is trying to leave his third team in three years and.... join a superteam.

Well it's lots of cap space if he does.

As long as Fatty, Derozan, and Rudy are all gone, I'd be relatively happy with the offseason. I'd sacrifice all 3 still being with the team if it meant the old man retired but we know that ain't happening

i hope that westbrook deal goes down just so we dont make a move for that trash Kuzma

but the fact that our FO was interested in him further evidences their incompetence

Should have sent him to Orlando when they had the chance last season.

Spurs better get a pick out of DeRozan. If we end up doing a sign-and-Trade just to get Markkanen I‘ma be pissed

His value was high when he was busting 43% of his treys. If you take 100 treys, thatís 129 points. He dropped to 39%, and lost huge value. Take 100 treys at that rate, and you score 117 points. Thatís a huge drop in efficiency for a player who really does nothing else.
Jeeze you just took analytics to a new level.

Spurs aren't getting anyone good in free agency man. Collins was the only player worth paying and the Hawks will match it 100%. Pass on overpaying Markannen...

Should not deal with the Lakers unless we get multiple first round picks and bleed their future dry.

You can do a lot of other things with cap space than sign free agents

The Wizards can still move Kuzma. They’re not acquiring him because they’re high on him. They’re doing it because he’s literally the only thing that makes the numbers work.

Woj is actually reporting that this trade was done to justify KEEPING Beal, not trading him.

Beal and Demar wouldn't be that bad of a duo.

Demar and Washington have mutual interest. Wouldnt say Washington is out of the equation just yet.
