looks like sac town is going to save us from kuzma. deal seems to be eminent.
Kuzma's 3pt% was average last year, but unfortunately 36% is still better than what Walker, Vassell, KJ, White, Murray, or Luka shot last year...
But I think this trade would be for the draft pick, & not necessarily for Kuzma. If the Spurs are confident they can find something at #22 and can use Kuzma as a trade piece, I think it makes sense, but only in the scenario where they keep #12.

i guess this will leave DDR stranded at the altar.
PATFO gonna walk away with nothing when DeRozan signs for that MLE. Poverty
I don’t like Kuzma neither but if we only give up DeRozan and get a pick or 2 back do it. Better than letting him walk for nothing
Kuzma instantly becomes our best player. He is still young and on a bargain contract.
woj is suggesting kuzma to LA and shams is reporting a separate LA deal with washington. westbrook is involved.
idc for kuz but dont trade just to trade to help the lakers
There is also talk of Kuzma, Harrell, KCP, and 22 to Wizards for Westbrook. Harrell opted into his one year deal, knows he'll be dealt.
And here...we...go....
You can’t just leave it empty. There is a minimum payroll to meet, thanks to Donald Sterling. What you do is either sign a decent FA, or rent it out for two years, until the next good FA class in 2023. Take on unattractive contracts like Wiggins.
Lakers are definitely making one of these moves. I’d love to see Westbrook playing for them. Taking dumb shots in crunch time, LeBron would look at him like JR Smith none of these players will make them better. Also the Clippers and Bulls are heavily interested in DeRozan, so it’s a bidding war
Good. We can put an end to this horrible trade proposal, and the Lakers get worse with another poor shooter.
Can someone explain why Harrell wouldn’t opt out? I’d assume he could get a bigger contract but maybe I’m wrong.
The Golden State Warriors basically assumed the 76ers’ offer as a joke. The Sixers asked for Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman, the Nos. 7 and 14 picks in tonight’s NBA draft along with two future first-rounders in exchange for Ben Simmons, according to multiple sources. The Warriors quickly turned down the offer.

In fairness, Lakers is so bad developing their talents snd players become much better elsewhere, Ingram, Randle, D’Angelo, Lonzo, Zubac. It’s ridiculous. Yes I would welcome Kuzma with a chip on his shoulder, plus whatever I can get for Demar who’s walking anyways. Harrell too and THT (and possibly #22 for Kai). This team would be hungry next season.
kuzma to the wiz, westbrook to the lakers.
I'd rather have Markannen than Kuzma (I think there's a little more upside there) now the Lakers attach other assets then that might tip the balance in my eyes.
My god, that's 4/5ths of a line up that wins 18 games in a season... Is Washington that desperate to get rid of Westbrook?
Shams and Woj are both confirming the Lakers/Wizards parameters for the Westbrook to Lakers deal. Sacramento back to square one over where they could move Hield. Buecher has said that Westbrook would stay if Beal stayed in DC. Beal is dragging his feet, but if Westbrook is leaving, Beal isn't far behind.
please let that trade happen
That's probably what it costs to match Westbrook's salary.
I'd love the Westbrook deal to go down and Demar to sign there for the MLE tbh
