Or, for non-boomers, Baby and Lil Weezy, the reunion.
I really liked this and hadn't watched it before. Loved him because think he'll bring some things the team is lacking. I think he'll diversify their offense. Frankly I could see him playing his rookie season if not for .
Who else of the young guys has a game like his? Nobody.

I found it! Bumping it up to watch in spare time. Thanks. This thread grew long and was hot the day of the draft.
Frankly it wasn't until the day after that I started posting bc the site was laggy and by then there was a lot posted I missed.
Hmm I really like him. Could even say I am sold. Better handles than DJM when he came in, can already shoot well, wide frame possibility that he's still growing, high character, ... I am excited to watch him.
This game does not feature Joshua Primo but there is a nice 5 minute interview with him that starts at 20:52 while the game is going on. Seems very mature and well spoken and not just for someone his age either.

awkward pause after he brought up his mom. Sad stuff.
#12 has been a lucky number for him.
I wonder how DJ reacts if Primo gets to start a game. The kid is basically everything they try to make DJ. I love Murray, but not sure how he's going to respond to the future coming in so soon, if he does.
He didn't seem too excited on draft night.
respond by on insta
i'm saying! i knew nothing about him and was freaked out by how young he looked.
but when you learn more about him you absolutely see why he is here.
that was harden-like footwork on that step back (for an 18 year old kid).
like you said we don't have anyone like this.
Make me love you, Primo! Make me love you.
jump on the primo suave train before its too lAte
I think a lot of these analytics guys trust their analytics way too much and end up making bizarre predictions. I remember back when Durant had been in the league for only 1 or 2 years, some analyst (I looked it up and it was Wayne Winston) said that Durant was basically just average or even below average, and he wouldn't even take Durant for free if offered to the Mavericks (he was the Mavs analytics guy). I can't find any link to the exact article because it has been taken down. But I found other links that mention Winston's analysis, for example:
https://www.espn.com/blog/truehoop/p...rant-conundrum
https://www.sbnation.com/2009/10/12/...rant-conundrum
https://dberri.wordpress.com/2009/10...hunder-review/
A few years later, Winston got fired from his Mavs analytics job and I remember thinking it was probably because Durant became great and it made his earlier analysis seem pretty dumb and shortsighted.
This Dean on draft guy predicted the #1 player of the 2020 draft would be Okungwu, so that was a miss. He did a retrospective on his other draft predictions and basically it's been both hit and miss like any other analyst:

I think Primo will play 1-3 and they can coexist.
For what its worth the Hawk insider confirmed their FO are trying to move up to late lottery with a Cam+20 package to target Primo or Sengun thinking they both have star potential.
Primo in the D-League for 2 years at least confirmed.
Spurs brought back Forms to coach up Primo, especially on defense.
He'll show him what not to do, right?
This kid reminds me a bit of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, both from Toronto as well.
