Only way I see Thad bringing back a first is if the Spurs inflate his value - give him lots of minutes, let him statpad on a bad Spurs team and try to move him at the deadline

One vision I can think of that could make sense for sixers is Siakam and dargic going to sixers, Simmons going to Spurs, Poeltl, White, Young, curry going to Toronto. Then there is a question of picks. But I think those numbers work fit wise for both Toronto and Sixers.

Doesn't work . . .

To 76ers: Siakam . . . only makes sense if they turn Harris into McCollum or someone of that ilk.

To Spurs: Simmons . . . retaining White and ridding themselves of Murray and to a lesser extent Poeltl, would be key.

To Raptors: Murray, Poeltl, Young, at least one Spurs 1st (depending on the protection).
