Trey Lyles signed already, didn’t he?
Bet LDN ends up with the Dubs.
Also, Oladipo

Detroit
Yeah meant to remove a few from Bobby Marks "best available" list.
Mcdermott and Collins is a 2 to 3 year project. The idea is the Spurs have a look at the youth while repairing Collins. Mcdermott just fits in either direction. If one of Walker/Johnson/Murray become allstar type players, the Spurs have realign their cap space for 2022 off season to get one max contact. Now the Harden/Durant's etc are out. Beal is likely out too if he commits to Wiz or whoever trades for him. But players like Sexton, Garry Harris, Mikal Bridges, Boucher, Hueter could be had here.
You then insert a healthy Collins and if the Spurs can get him on track, you now got the future 4 the team has always needed. Add Primo and get him minutes before season 3. You can start to see the rebuild in plan.
The very best thing that came out of Spurs very conservative approach edit* is that they kept their picks. There are teams out there are going all out to win and losing picks in the process. Blazers and Bulls come in mind. Bulls have given up 3 first round picks for Vuc and DDR.
edit* just to stop any confusion. Mcdermott isn't a project but rather the ideal role player for the future if the Spurs stars align. Because he fits a team that needs a stretch 3 that can move off the ball. Spurs have relied upon 3's from out guards (forbes/mills/Beli.) We now have dependable 3 point shooter at the sf position.

Health and health will be key for the spurs during this next season if DJ, White, KJ, and Lonnie play most of the games next season will have a decent record imo
Can't believe Lakers got Monk for the minimum, why didn't the Spurs even try to go after him?
Monks a guard. Do you want him to take minutes from our youth?
Lakers are contenders that desperately need depth? Do you think Monk would want to play for the minimum, on a team that has no minutes for him? Please answer because this board has this delusional one minded, NBA 2k my gm approach to real life.
23 year old who is on the age timeline with our young core and on a relatively cheap deal. I did not want to sign collins, but young rebuilding teams take flyers on other young players with injury issues and the spurs are a young rebuilding team, so...
Australian center Jock Landale — the 2021 NBL Grand Final MVP — has agreed to a two-year deal with the San Antonio Spurs, his agent Sammy Wloszczowski of sigSports tells @TheAthletic @Stadium.
Cream Team!!!!!
we’re saying this because there’s a lot of sexy Spurs we collectively want to on us right?
interesting. He seems to be mad that he didn't go to the NBA earlier. Seems to have a 3-point shot, but I couldn't find any %. 25 years old. I was waiting on them to bring over somebody from overseas
Cream Pie Team!
The joke tells itself, tbh; I'm unbothered with posters low-IQ'd enough to be unable to read a couple paragraphs' worth of analysis. I'm well aware that the American education system leaves a lot to be desired, no hard feelings for any of y'all
Derozan ,mills and gay gone. Young guys get their chance to show out. Top10 pick all but guaranteed...lets fckn gooooooo
Internet high five!!! We should make t shirts!
So we’re up to 15 guys signed now right?
Jakob/Drew/Jock/ZC
Kj/Luka/young/aminu
Doug/Lonnie
White/Devin/Primo
DJ/Tre
Cup of joe on a two way deal I guess??
we might be the whitest team in the league.
glad I don't live in America
Spurs Chatter vs what PATFO hears.
Fans: Sign Collins
PATFO: "We signed Collins"
Fans: Don't sign Aussie PG from St. Mary's
PATFO: "We signed Aussie C from St. Mary's"
Correct me if I'm wrong someone, isn't it possible to sign Zach, Doug, and sign Laurie with our cap space and then sign & trade Demar using his birds rights? If so, aren't we actually able to trade the players received in the Demar/Bulls trade?
Damn, you don't? Where're you from? I'm always curious about international ST'ers... In my mind, I'm the lone stranger in an otherwise Texan-filled online BBQ tbh
Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn
4m Free agent C Hassan Whiteside has agreed to a deal with the Utah Jazz, @excelbasketball agent Sean Kennedy tells ESPN.
Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn
Whiteside has spent the past two seasons in the Western Conference with Sacramento and Portland and remains a force in the paint. With the departure of Derrick Favors, Rudy Gobert has another dependable, experienced center behind him.
