I was thinking the opposite. Probably haggling.
a lot confusing stuff going on with this franchise. Don't think they would move Lonnie if they are saying this
I was thinking the opposite. Probably haggling.
I don't see that at all. If anything these moves say they have no confidence in him.
Building up for Sixers. We got two budding All-Star on DJ and Lonnie for Simmons
Maybe I'm biased, but Lonnie and Keldon are the only players I see as untradeable.
There is not one player on this team I would not trade for the right price.
That's what I was thinking.
Remember when Pop said George Hill was his favorite player....and then almost immediately traded his ass?
A reflection on the Derozan trade?
because they arent. If anything theyll buy some guys out or just dump a few minimal contracts somewhere to even out the roster. There is no big move coming
I think it’s #2, since Demar ended up getting paid on his way out anyways. All that talk of getting less was just less than a max, by no means discounts.
Yeah, he and DeMar are close, so it is likely.
I think DJ just says that he thinks is deep or profound because he's 24 and people look waaay too much into everything. I also think he knows this and likes trolling fans
But seriously, maybe to play with Lillard…
Looks like we're in with the Dinwiddie trade.... Can't post a thread since I'm pinked.
I absolutely want to get back to you on that, but writing that original post was tiresome enough. I limit myself to one essay a day, for Spurstalk's sake
But my answer will not be really changed, tbh. Signing Forbes, while a move I loathe, is absolutely something that gets the Spurs closer to the bottom of the NBA, so in terms of "picking a direction", it could hardly be any more clear, TBQH.
You ever heard of the monkey's paw? You wanted direction...
How to get in on this? Whats there for interest to the Spurs?
He has struggled with retirement. It was sudden and unexpected. He spoke about how mentally he wasn’t ready to retire. He wasn’t planning on it, just got too spooked by the heart condition. One could perceive from his statements that he was still hungry to play.
I suppose he’s been working out and feels like he has something still to contribute somewhere.
Our front office can barely sign players for logical amounts of money and do a sign and trade with one team and now we think we can somehow get something useful out of a 6 team trade
We going to around and lose every player we got, end up with 9 second round picks, and have to cancel the season if Wrights dumb ass gets in on this
I think that’s jus that guy’s opinion, not a statement from the franchise.
He is kind of an attention-
Washington is sending Chandler Hutchinson and a 2022 second-round pick to San Antonio as part of a multi-team deal in the Spencer Dinwiddie sign-and-trade, sources tell ESPN. Brooklyn gets a 2024 second and a 2025 pick swap from Wizards.
