Interesting possibility that @JakeLFischer discussed on my podcast: As one of the few teams that still have significant cap space, the Thunder are rumored to be considering a two-year, $40 million offer to Spencer Dinwiddie. Then, they'd try to flip him before the trade deadline.

How does that impact things with Trae Young’s 5 year $207 million extension?

Except Collins won't be playing for sometime I think. Also I think Walker has to start instead of White. Also we have 28mil left. That's either DDR or Collins because Mcdermott is more suited off the bench.

Potentially the second unit towards the end of the season is White, Vassell, Mcdermott, Samanic, Collins. That's pretty good.

Oh damn, I thought restricted free agents had to wait until Friday.

Time to get back to refreshing

Kinda feel sorry for Patty, tbh. He sucked in the second half of last season but I didn't know he'd have to take pennies.

If Spurs were somewhat successful at making trades at the deadline, I wouldn't be as upset with these type of signings. However, Spurs end up stuck with these players/contracts till they expire...

He’s screwed - unless SA wants Collins and ATL wants DDR, he has no market? S&T is his only hope and Sa doesn’t have to do anything since they can sign players outright.
