Haha tell me we aren’t moving to Vegas. Brian Wright probably loves gambling, hookers and blow. I mean who doesn’t?
Well, I mean he's gambling on a 6'11 white dude with 5 ankle surgeries in three years. I'd say he loves to gamble.

Does this guy need better Nike's or what. Do we need to take an extra insurance policy out on him? Earlier I had read that Collins and Atlanta weren't close, and then I saw we had signed a Collins. Nope, we got the one with the bad feet.

Collins being a three-point shooter is a bit of a myth. He shoots them less frequently than Dejounte Murray and hits 32% for his career. McDermott isn't really a high-end sniper (despite his reputation) but Collins barely registers as any type of three-point shooter.

How many guys have ever missed practially 3 years of their career and made it back to do anything? Especially players who were never worth a damn to begin with?

Ilgauskas had a bad 3 year stretch, 5 games, 0 games, 24 games. But he was actually producing before he went down with injury, 15 & 8.

Zollins has never done a damn thing.

If he wasn't a 10th overall pick nobody would give a about him. Brian Wright might as well sign Curtis Borchardt next, damn

Is this guy even better than Trey Lyles? Couldn't they find a Trey Lyles type player for $5 mil instead of paying an injured guy $7 mil?

Iíll own it: I like this signing. Itís worth the gamble, plus in all likelihood these are the type of deals weíd been left with anyway. Itís a ty crop this summer. People just pissed itís happening st 12:01 again.

His deal will start in the 6M range, and weíll see what year 3 protections there are. Spurs still have moved to make.

Did the team doctors at least get to check him out in the 90 minutes it took to make this signing? Jesus.

I wouldnít be surprised if he gets paid more than a million bucks per game he plays for this team.

Portland was so afraid of him signing his qualifying offer that they pulled it.

They were afraid of him burning capspace as an injured player who wasn't even that good when he did play. Despite the embarrassment of picking Collins over BAM and other players, they did the smart thing and didn't want him around.

Brian Wright goes ahead and gives him a 3 year 22 million dollar deal.

One of the worst signings in NBA history.

Just waiting on the excuses to come with, "Spurs had intel that other teams wanted him at like, 3/21, so the Spurs HAD TO ACT! Intel!"

Ooh, thanks for the quote, almost missed that.

Daily reminder timvp that the blocking function on this site is still trash. Can you put your anger at the FO to good use and work on it...?

Primo, I can see the point now.
Wieskamp looks like a good pick.
McDermott is decent if the 3rd year is a teqm option or non guaranteed, bad if not.
Zach Collins just makes very little sense, even if the 3rd year isn't guaranteed.
