Brooklyn. What a y team, but they will appreciate Mills. Great teammate. It’s his time to go, but what an impact he had on SA.
Spurs paid him $50 mil.
Nets paid him $12 mil.
Our garbage front office paid $38 million extra for culture/character.

Thanks for 2014.
Loved you off the court 2015-21
Beyond that, no slurping from me.
The NBA ruled that Mills cannot and will not be prosecuted for elder abuse / taking money from a dementia patient.
This is how you know the tank is on.
I’m looking forward to when the Spurs play the Nets, and Pop sees Patty out there, and waves him over to tell him which play to run.
The team was never the same after he gave up his towel waiving responsibilities
Man, the FO took a big, fat, steamy hot all over the haters today.
There's way too many posts to quote, dead wrong, about the Spurs bringing the vets back at any cost, another $50Millz contract, re-signing DePression, all that jazz.... Feels so ing good to get vindication like this, and see the team offload their over-the-hill vets and turn a new page.
I personally knew we weren't ever re-signing DeRozan & Co after the play-in game, but I'd be lying if I said I never doubted, either.... Being a Spurs fan can be a test of faith sometimes, it's nice to see it get rewarded like this
Now, bois, roll the tank over...... Where's the 2022 Draft thread, TBH?!
And three more seasons...and a player who was five years younger at the time.
I didn't love the deal at the time, either, but not really a fair statement/comparison.

That said, Patty should be great fit in New Jersey. He'll get every open look he could ask for with that roster.
I appreciate Patty's love for the Spurs and the city of San Antonio. From that perspective, I'm really sad to see him go.
One of the classiest and best teammates of all time. He was just put into a role he wasn’t suited for at the end of his stint but I have good memories of Patty. Best of luck, mate.

this off season couldn't be any better...
no offense to patty.. he was an elite role player for the glory days but things changed so much... hope you win one more patty you deserve it with your ethic and team play...
on another note finally a fresh start... i'd like to see pop coach without the old vets.. he's a military guy.. he loves his vets.. now he can do some boot camp for these kids no distractions...
pop the drill sergeant Pog
in b4 he plays Young, Aminu, and McDip 30 mins a night
fook :facepalm
Well, it's better than rudy and patty playing 30 minutes. Young and aminu will at least give decent defense.
Patty hustled like crazy, all though undersized was always willing to put his body on the line.
Demar for me was the worst spurs defender so thats another plus on the defensive side.
Thanks for all the memories Patty . Still a gun shooter . Pitty pop couldnt help himself by overplaying you. Both parties benefit from this departure.
Patty Mills, I don't give a what you did for the Spurs, it was a lot.....but, what you did for the Alamo City community with your heart, compassion, and generosity is what I care about. Thank you for trying to make my hometown a much better place through your actions.....God Bless and throw another shrimp on the barbie...
rip to patty mills. he's dead to us after joining those divas.
Going to miss the little guy I wish him the best - hope to see him come back into our organization after he retires
Now mills can do this to Durant in practice
Shoulda kept Mills instead of signing Forbes
