They need to green light DJ. White and Keldon are right there. None of them will probably be all-stars as Spurs though.
White
Murray
Poeltl
Young
Keldon

IMHO, Spurs related:
Best overall player (taking into account health, potential, Yada-Yada): DJ
Most indispensable: Jakob Poeltl
MIP: Devin Vassell
6th Man: Lonnie Walker
Team Captain: Derrick White
Barometer for success: Keldon Johnson’s development into a 3/4 hybrid
Enigma (formerly the Lonnie Walker award): Luka Samanic
The phrase "best player" cannot be associated with the word "Spurs" at this moment and time.
Poeltl.
Do you have ROY?
Woof.
What's the opposite of stacked?
If White and KJ don't elevate, it's going to be an interesting season in a mostly negative way lol
DJ. They need to give Walker the green light. He can get scorching hot and should be the main scorer on this team, except that there's no way that Pop starts him.
Spurs ROY? Just saw we signed Jock Landale. He’d be my choice.
Spurs an ABT team
ant bite ties
what player can get the team 25 points when it needs it?
I agree with most of this except I’d say Murray is the Team Captain as he’s definitely the most vocal and assertive player we have among our starters. I know White is a good player when healthy but I still think he’s overrated as here.
I'm good with White and Murray being the 1-2 focal points for offense, and expect them to be the highest scorers.
Young and Walker would be the next two in ppg.
I want to add that this 2022 roster has gone almost full youth movement outside of old-man Young and Dylan McDermott.
Average age of the 15 signed players is 24.3 as of today.
8 players will be under 25 for the entire 2021-2022 season:
24 - Collins
23 - Walker
22 - Wieskamp
22 - Vassell -
22 - Johnson
22 - Jones
22 - Samanic
19 - Primo
Three of these guys are already rotational players, and Samanic and Jones may break the 10 deep group.
For comparison, two years ago today we had Aldridge, Belinelli, Carroll, Gay, Mills, Derozan, and Forbes as the 7 oldest players.
I think we're in a lot better boat than August 2019 considering the irritation some if not all those guys caused us fans.
Landale is our best player
Keldon and White, the Olympians, must become the leaders.
Could be Thad now. Or SOB....
I am seriously wondering if there are any other teams whose best player is as bad as ours (whoever it might be). I mean almost every team has at leat one semi-star right?
Seems like players that instead can give teams 25 points are more valued.
Charlotte maybe? Rozier their best player?
Yeah.
I mean if none of the Spurs make "the leap" we don't really have anyone that can be called a franchise player.
