Like him. Maybe the best FA they signed.
He's got a solid inside - out offensive game. And can punish mismatches inside (minus that bad hooking foul).
Like him. Maybe the best FA they signed.
reminds me of splitter in that you literally never want to see him take a hook shot
Except he tries to dunk everything lol
Ill say it. Easily spurs best fa signing
he looked pretty big and pretty spry
Gonna be fun to see him play (after he sits out his first season to get over himself).
I don't have a good nickname for him. jack handale I just don't know.
Chinook coined SOB so I'm going with that.
Not a great game tonight, but you get that.
Lots of potential
Can finally get a fiesta jersey
Need a nickname for him? Itchy.
I can't imagine Pop will not play him with his motor. He got the post moves, can pass from the post, 100% motor like Keldon, can hit the 3's.
Move over Poeltl, Landale is going to light up his behind if he comes back out of shape. This guy will be ready to play from day 1.
He's been saying he belongs in the NBA and I think will prove himself.
I'm really hoping Simmons come and get them Aussie brothers tandem going. Boy I hoped Patty did not have to go (of course that means not signing Forbes)

Is this nickname ed up?
Kangaroo Jack
That was a pretty poor representation of Jock, I would have expected him to play better than that.
Simmons doesn’t really care about Aussies
Is this kid gonna get a legit shot at the rotation or just get Splittered for a couple years?
Pop generally rates international play as good experience, so maybe
this guy has potential to be a starter. Or a 6th man type back up. Could also play the 4. And I agree, he’s by far the Spurs best FA signing
Highlight reels are a terrible place to determine if a player is a “black hole”. When have you seen a highlight montage that shows the subject “moving the ball?” That’s like counting the green jelly beans to determine how many black ones there are.
IMO if they signed Papapetrou too this would have been a really satisfying offseason, better than just signing J. Collins. Something about signing no names who look good tape for very little and have the potential to be really good.
Yeah, I agree with that. Our international out of nowhere free agent signings are usually a welcome surprise.
so you're saying he does NOT remind you of Poeltl?
If he hits, that's a good score for Wright
Not sure what everyone else was watching but this was not a good game for Landale. He should be fine for the Spurs but last night he was getting his shot blocked, throwing up weak shot attempts (except for the dunks) and turning the ball over. My first thought was that he was all talk and no walk.
He may have been nervous playing in front of Pop. Assuming Pop realized Jock was on his team now instead of Patti.
