1st glance thought an Onion type article and / or BatManu20 needs to be temp banned for the horrible joke.
It's f-ing real.
Suppose this means Grandpa is back for sure.
I watched a lot of the Bucks and I promise you, it actually looked worse and it stood out more because he was surrounded by such great defensive players.

Jesus Christ what a terrible way to start off the morning seeing this . All the guards we have on this team and we sign back this bum, unreal. The absolute worst part about this is that he’s going to take minutes from someone he has no business playing over at this point. They just couldn’t ing resist, finally everyone gone and just the young guys left and they do this smfh.
His DBPM is essentially the same as it was here.
Forbes was the worst defender in the league in San Antonio. Went to Milwaukee and still the worst defender in the league.

Sort by defense and see Forbes is 250th out of 250. No hyperbole here. He's literally the worst defender in the league.
Calling Forbes a “defender” is like calling Donald Trump an honest man.
but he comes back a champion
if you want more depressing numbers about Bryn, here's how he was handled in the finals
games 1, still in rotation, played his 12 minutes in a loss
game 2, played 6 minutes in a loss
game 3, with bucks down 2-0, only plays 4 minutes, misses both his shot attempts
game 4, DNP bucks win
game 5, DNP bucks win
game 6, DNP bucks win and seal the le
honestly feel like in a similar situation pop would give forbes more minutes as the series went along instead of white
Forbes sucks. Why does this board understand that but PATFO does not?
Love seeing Lonnie and McDermott and even Keldon being in the top 30 worst defenders. Oh and Derozan was there as well.
keldon is oddly enough westbrook-esque in that he plays with 100% energy all the time but often in misguided ways that are counterproductive
FARCE of FO goes to new low.
Woke up hoping there’d be more to this. But alas, here we are.
I don't really care about this signing if it's a one year deal for a minimum amount and the young players get the minutes and he is just a back up shooter. I don't care if the Spurs get Simmons and need to surround him with shooting, I still would not want to see Forbes on the court.
i'd rather have just brought patty back tbh
Pop coaching that series for the bucks 100% gets swept
But but but I was told Lonnie is a good defender because he managed to kind of disrupt James Harden for like one quarter.
Pop saw this stat and just couldn’t help himself tbh.
Not to quibble but Forbes is ahead of Trae Young who is actually #250 (that guy should probably be cut by Atlanta).
Lonnie Walker is a few spots ahead of Forbes at #243.
Frighteningly, the worst forward listed is McDermott (SF/PF) at #246, second worst forward (SG/SF) is Walker at #243.
They may need to play a lot of zone this year.
god lonnie's advanced stats are putrid

If you scroll through the various categories here-- box score DEF raptor/ on/off DEF raptor/overall DEF-- you'll see Forbes usually near the bottom. Unfortunately the other names you'll also consistently see are Lonnie Walker and Doug McDermott.
Edit: Timvp beat me to it
I was talking about overall defensive RAPTOR where Forbes is 250th of 250. But, yeah, that other stat he's 249th of 250 so that works too
Walker is one of the worst help defenders I've ever seen and not so hot on the ball either so his Forbes-like ranking makes sense.
I've seen Spurs fans try to tell themselves that McDermott isn't a bad defender ...... but they will soon find out the truth, tbh.
lonnie is one of the absolute worst defenders in the nba and also one of the worst offensive players. overall 3rd worst player in the association
Lies, damn lies and statistics.
Defensively, Rudy Gay is #31 and Kawhi Leonard trails at #62 -- I'm guessing most coaches would rather have Leonard on the court for defensive purposes.
