What money did Forbes get, tbh?

My calculations after the DeRozan trade were the Spurs had $6 million. Since then, they absorbed $4 million in the Chandler Hutchinson trade and signed Jock Landale to something. Did Landale get the minimum and Forbes get the room exception of $5 million? Landale for the minimum sounds too good to be true but no way Forbes got the minimum, right?

Right now my guess is Forbes got a two-year, $10 million with the second year being a player option but who knows.

Bryn opted out of 2.4 million with the Bucks. So, what do you think the Spurs are paying him?
Reported deal of 3 years, 45 million...

They’ll flip NBA champion Brent Forbes at the deadline to a contender. , maybe even back to the Nets.

Same for Thad and McBob in my view.

Pretty sure they can't use that exception since they went under the cap.

What did Forbes do to deserve a raise in general, but especially from the Spurs in their situation? If you said SA did him a favor since his market dried up, how on Earth could the favor be a raise AND player option?? That doesn’t make sense to me. If that’s the case, it was not a favor; they really valued him.

It's not too late for Forbes to pull a Marcus Morris.

I only recall four players who had a 2nd stint on the Spurs - Vernon Maxwell, Avery Johnson, Sean Elliott and Stephen Jackson.

Now this piece of **** is added to that the list of actual NBA players.

We got 82 starts with this scrub rubbing his soles on defense to look forward to.

He is the worst defensive player in the NBA. And he’s going to eat minutes from the actual future.

Dude is a back up player in a position of need. We actually do need a back up guard. Also Pop is traveling all around the country for 3/4ths the year and if he wants a guy he can get along with them so be it. Believe it or not but being a good locker room guy does help.

Buuuut once Derrick White gets injured again a ton of people here are gonna be so angry bc Forbes will be starting over Lonnie. I can’t wait for that to happen

Took a number of years, but the FO has completed the transition from one of the best to one of the worst.
WTF is going on? They haven't been able to rebuild/reload since Leonard, and they can't tank either. It's somewhere in the middle where they re-sign Forbes.

At least the Bills finally got their house in order, so I can focus on that.

If he is a fringe end of bench guy then fine.

If he gets minutes this place will melt down.

I only hope the Spurs don't use up all the cap space and sign him using an exception. This will affect any possible FA signing next year.
