Vassell is trying too hard to be the star. He's an NBA player, but he's an off-ball guy, and his can be the big boy at the table while still letting others set him up. He wasn't solid enough offensively last year to use this SL to experiment. The team should've given him the game plan of finding and taking as many open catch-and-shoot jumpers as possible. Maybe that was the gameplan before Jones got hurt. But Jones isn't hurt anymore.
Get #23 off the court and tell him to go home.
Whew, that was a pretty disgusting outing by the Spurs. Can the second half be better? To think these are the Timberwolves we're playing against.... SL rosters and all that, but still not the best of signs. At least Primo looks good most times he touches the ball. Vassell looks really discombulated, he's gotta calm down and not try to hero-ball through the team's struggles.

Vassell has easily been the worst player of the whole summer league. ing putrid. Imagine the slander he would get if his name was Lonnie Walker. By far the most babied Spur in recent history only behind White

This is what I'm saying, playing Primo with a PG allows him to get hot from deep.

Primo has good vision but bad awareness. He gets the ball picked a lot with playground moves.
I do believe that’s one thing he needs to show can’t survive as a PG in the NBA without some scoring.

Haven't seen the game so far, sounds like Primo is the best Spur out there from the comments you all are making.
yeah, thats why i keep referencing CoJo when discussing him. need to see some more juice. knowing how to "get the offense into its sets" or "making heady passes" isn't nearly enough to play PG today.
Tre Jones needs some help. He has 7 assists but could easily have 12 right now.
Want to see him on the court with Weiskamp instead of vASSell
