Would rather Jamal be playing and MPJ be out, since the Spurs don't have a defensive answer for him, but the Nuggets are always a vulnerable team. The Spurs have a chance if enough guys can show up for a second game in a row.

I don't predict a win and I expect Poodle to get lacerated tonight, but if we do win, I'll take it.

I have a feeling this Spurs team is going to be very volatile this year. That gives the Spurs a puncher's chance, as a solid underdog, in games like this.

I still think the Nuggets will win, but I'd give this year's team a higher chance of beating the Nugs on the road than last year's. And also a lower chance of beating lower-tier teams.

Considering last year they got raped by supposedly tier teams on the regular that doesn't inspire much confidence unless you're hoping for a high lottery pick like me.

MPJ is a 6’10 Lonnie. He’s got all of the gifts, but is ultimately a tease.

At the peak of the pre Durant GSW, with all of the talk of the death lineups, there were several that were better, and they all included Jokic and Murray. Not a typo. Lineups with Jokic and Murray were beater than the Death Lineup. I’m glad Murray is out.

First game I'll be catching since last season, pretty much. Missed all preseason and the opener, so this'll be an actual, real-time look at the new Spurs. Let's see what y'all have been hyping about...

    A poll - over/under on Primo playing 5+ minutes?

The Knicks are beating the Magic by 30 at halftime right now, so I think the first game was more about the Magic being really bad than the Spurs being really good. We'll see which players can repeat their game 1 performances against the much stronger Nuggets.

Let’s keep the element of surprise. Spurs by 12. Go Spurs Go!

Poeltl needs to stay with Jokic tonight. Keep him from becoming a facilitator. Pop shoukd throw different defender on him to give him different looks. Keldon will be banging with Gordon. Let’s go!
