Impressive pitching performance. No hitter until the 8th inning. Sort of showing by Champions.

Greinke starting Game4. I expect Braves to counter with the youngster Wright

It seems silly in hindsight but that might have been must win for Braves with 2 bullpen games coming up. Save Fried for Game 6 fully rested

Anderson is 23 years old with career playoff record of 5-0

No hitter until the 8th inning.
the error that was ruled a *hit*.....
Did he lose it in the lights? Afraid he was going to crash into the shortstop?
    Brain fart?
    Just being a puss?
Locked in on holding it to a single so played it uber conservative?

Finally found it. FFS the mainstream media is lame. BSPN and Mlb.com don't even comment on it.
    Here is Sporting News:

"I started charging it hard right away, and I noticed Dansby (shortstop) was charging hard as well. He had his back to the ball so obviously we're both trying to make a play on the ball," Rosario said through a translator. "When I knew I had a bead on it, I was trying to say, 'I got it. I got it.' But obviously, I knew Dansby couldn't hear me so at the last minute, knowing that we couldn't communicate, I just wanted to make sure I avoided any collision between the two of us. So I just kind of eased up on it right there."

    Couple things on Rosario

Even though he leads off and plays OF, he isn't relatively fast. He also plays a somewhat awkward defense in the Outfield. Not smooth like a true outfielder.

Lastly he didn't start for the Braves until August 28th. And even since then he was platooning and being subs uted for defense. I remember twice during the stretch run he lost the ball in the lights.

On this particular play last night I think Swanson got too close and scared him from sliding. He definitely could have caught it. As the game announcers mentioned, Rosario defends very deep.

Albies and DArnaud both wiffing with runners on bottom 6th.
Albies was ball 4 but who knows what MLB ump would have called so maybe not a bad swing.
D Arnaud just froze at a meatball. Bummer.

Ouch. Not sure Braves are going to get a better scoring op then that.

Back2Back jacks to take the lead. Then Rosario catch against the wall against Altuve in the next half

Fellas I think this might actually happen. Team of Destiny. Post more recap in a bit!

Armbarn cant give up gofer balls and expect to win. It was there for the taking and the dude puked all over himself.

It would help if Correa and Bergman would hit the ball once in a while.

Correa is already looking to leave the team. Guy wants to play here in New York.

Astros walked into an Atlanta ambush this weekend. It's not just trying to break the Atlanta sports city narrative but also standing up to the national media's obsession with the chop, the team name, the imagery etc. As if the whole All Star game stuff wasn't already enough. People are legitimately pissed off and feeling attacked.

This was a devastating loss for the Astros. Consecutive quality starts and nothing to show for it. In the past 3 games the Astros have only surrendered 7 runs. Dusty was asked post game if he will shuffle the lineup and he responded he might, will be daytime decision.

Astros are just y enough to believe they only need to get this series back to Houston and go from there. But there's no Ace walking thru that door compared to the comeback of 2017.

I'll be in LA tomorrow with a girl visiting the USA on vacation . So not sure how much of Game5 I can ultimately watch. It would not shock me if this series extends into the weekday but I just don't see the Astros winning 3 consecutive over Fried and Anderson. Braves already showed they can win in the Juicebox.

It's really something when you witness a Bullpen come together. I was always confident that Ian would ultimately return from injury (also Ynoa) propelling the Braves to the division le. But I didn't forsee the Pen coming together like this. I guaranteed Will Smith would blow a game or two come October. Luke had a hiccup against the Dudgers but has regrouped. You can't win the World Series without a quality bullpen. This wasn't always the case in MLB. But it has never rang truer.

7-0 Braves at home in this postseason
