Here's what local ESPN radio in LA is saying about this matchup. After an agonizingly long (really long) and really agonizing Dodger postmortem, the host teased the next subject -- the Lakers-Spurs matchup and why it was critical for the Lakers. After the break, the host said this was a must win because the Lakers lost to two good teams (GSW and Phoenix) then barely beat a team with a really good player (Memphis) but now the Lakers are playing a truly bad team. Time to get it together and take care of business. A must win.
Personally, I think this is a must win game for the Spurs for pretty much the same reasons.
Should be fun.

This. With Westbrook in and LeBron out, the Spurs have a very good chance to win. Flip-flop that and the Lakers cruise.
If LeBron does play I think the Lakers win by 6, if not I'll flip that to Spurs by 6.
Wouldn't be surprised if we blew them out. They are not a good team right now.
They're on a roll with a one game winning streak which I imagine they want to extend to two games very badly.
It's so ingrained. I'd rather the Spurs lose to everyone but the Lakers and the Mavs. The two rivals during the Spurs best era.

Looks like LeBron is out. Still won't be an easy game but the more shots Westbrook takes the better the Spurs' chances of winning are.

I personally would start KJ on him and bait the post play, double at times and force the perimeter shot.
If Spurs can keep the live ball turnovers down and hit their fair share of 3s, feel we can win this one convincingly.
Always hate that on broadcast it feels like the crowd is 40-50% Pro-Lakers. Is it like that in the arena?

TANKING FOR WHAT??? I keep seeing posters talking about tanking for 3 seasons straight. What is coming out of college to tank for? Why do you guys want Popovich to continue drafting players that he isn't gonna play for a year or 2?
