Q: What's the difference between Ted Cruz and Big Bird?
A: Big Bird has friends.
So the latest brainchild idea from ol' Cancun Cruz is to go after Big Bird for encouraging vaccinations, like the ol yellow guy has been for ooooh, fourty ing years.
Turns out that people generally like Big Bird more than Ted Cruz. The mockery has been unrelenting, and funny.
Seriously, are we not collectively embarrassed yet?
Dang, Darren so upset at cancel culture coming for Big Bird he's stroking out here and posting indecipherable gibberishh. sad tbh
Pity post
Trump s can't even pity post right
Yes, my post was filled with a lot of pity. That's correct
Cruz should not ostrich-size Big Bird for getting vaccinated
They both flew South for the winter

You aren't embarrassed that your senator is going after a muppet?
The fact that he got attention for this means Ted Cruz wins. He got exactly what he was looking for.
I don't think it helps him in this case. Not all press is good press in politics, and there is still a substantial number of Republicans who don't have any issue with vaccines or Sesame Street. It'll be good ammo for whoever runs against him in 2024.
But in the meantime I'm sure his social media agency will pat themselves on the back for increasing his engagement or whatever.
Donald Trump had negative press for 2 years prior to the 2016 election, and almost no other Republican candidate got enough press to mention. Even Hillary's constant friendly press coverage wasn't enough to overcome how much talking the MSM did about Donald.
Trump got negative press for saying things that a large part of the population agreed with. Clinton got positive press for saying things people didn't want to hear. Bad press is only good if it's for something that benefits you when people hear it.
Very different from a sitting US Senator whining about a Sesame Street character's Twitter activity.
Trump won
As I said
DMC with the whataburgertrump
The result doesn't validate your rationale, even if you erase the parts of my post you're unable to argue with.
Trump got 4 years of bad press from 2017-2020. How'd that work out for him?
Meh, more cringe than anything
You mean like Benghazi, "her emails," Clinton Foundation, "deplorables," the DNC leaks and Comey publicizing an FBI investigation a week and a half before the election?
newsmax for kids
"White Power Rangers" was next show on Newsmax at 1:00!
Matt Schlapp melts down over the Asian-American Muppet
Pretty much. Although I'm not sure outright derision is the kind of attention he wants. There is culture war attention from the rabid base, and then there is alienating moderates.
