Now he is starting to think about his future in this country.
He took that stupid teenage step into that could turn bad and sank in it.
Only he did it with a gun. And he "had" to shoot people. Consequences of very poor decision making.
"Lets just make this like I had stayed at home and was working"

He's ours now. Maybe he'll shoot you.
Well the folks he shot Were white ....
Now they're darker.
You are an idiot.
Why dont you take a gun to eliminate the bad guys clearly wearing the black hats and see how it turns out?
Be that marksman.
You would not dare.

Give the guy a break he's like 64 years old now
As an illustration of how difficult Darrin finds it to believe someone thinks black people matter, he used this same retort twice.
Two days later and Gaythan still avoids this thread.
All lives matter has always = black lives matter.
Not breaking news. Two sides saying the same thing from different angles.
Rittenhouse demonstrated many of the problems of America's police culture more than he embodied them. I'd wanted there to be some sort of guilty verdict, because I think the country needs to get away from its obsession with property. There's no way the country should allow minors to show up to protest with weapons to "protect" things that they don't even own or use. That said, the actual shootings were always muddied and seemed to be self-defense unless evidence came out during the trial that changed the story substantially. What I saw instead was a lot of the character-assassination tactics used often to justify the killing of people like Jean and Aubrey. So in that regard, I'm glad those tactics didn't work here.
I do wonder if Rittenhouse did gain some perspective after having gone through the legal system. I can imagine he'll look at future character-assassination attempts and be more sympathetic to the figures at the center of those. He certainly seems to have gotten better consideration from the police than a lot of black people do, but he'll have to live with a stigma not too different. Most likely he'll have plenty of opportunities to become a right-wing figurehead. That he didn't take this won with Carlson doesn't mean he'll never taken one. But it was interesting that he took a strong stance when he could've probably played it more ambiguously.
So I assume you reject saying Blue Lives Matter too
I didn't even bring up All Lives Matter but says a lot that you did.
I'm not interested in rehashing 2016 semantic arguments.
