uva win. The Blazers were short-handed but a 31 point win on the road over an NBA team is impressive no matter how you slice it.

Most of Forbes 18 pts were either garbage time or when the Spurs already had a comfortable lead. Very deceptive numbers

;yeah, they even went as far to say that Forbes is a big time player that steps up like Murray. These guys obviously don't watch all of the spurs games like us lol
Yep… that was weird too, like Forbes is some hidden weapon. The first half was awesome, 21 assists on 28 made FGs, with no Forbes. For as much as it sucks to see number 7 getting annihilated on defense, Forbes was on fire tonight. McBuckets was great too. But Jakob was really awesome, one of the few things the Portland announcers got right was calling Jakob MVP. He’s great in his role.

but gotta give him credit, he hit shots when Spurs were dying on offense. That’s his role and should only be his role. Come in when shooting in sorely needed. If he makes keep him in. If he struggles take him out. Pretty simple really

That DSJ meltdown was awkward. Dude was beefing on everything and was targeting Forbes.

Not the biggest forbes guy but that little burst of offense was to stick it to DSJ for chirping at him and it was nice to see.

There was one forbes 3 that led to a timeout and Forbes was looking down the sidelines at the home bench trolling DSJ.

Another time forbes flashed a big smile at him lol

Give the man props, Bryn closed out the game for us. Lot of positives from the game, 3rd quarter was ugly. Hope Devin didn’t have a setback

Yeah forbes definitely shoots comfortably in the pressure off situation but I will say that the trailblazers were definitely mounting a run as weak as it was but it halved the lead almost so that forbes hot streak helped maintain a bit and maybe a bit more than garbage time though I definitely want to see it when the tougher games happen too

Yup. The best we can hope for is that one or both teams will have a hangover after what should be a huge showdown between them tomorrow. But I won't count on it.

I think I'm going to go with another 4-6 in the next 10. The most likely wins in order are vs NO, vs NY, @ SAC, vs CHA imo. There's a decent chance to win one of the two against Denver too, and maybe against the Clippers if they are having one of their off nights. The Clips have 7 losses by double digits and two more by 8 and 9 points already.

Can't complain too much about made buckets but Forbes did his job. When he said he was good and asked to finish the game, I was hoping they'd give the end of the bench some burn but Forbes took most of the shots. Am I happy he did well? Yes. But I would have liked to have seen Landale get a couple of shots and for Vassell to try to get into a rhythm.

Yeah, what is that? The only time he got to touch the ball was for a ing post entry pass.

Forbes garbage timed his way to a high scoring game but I will say he did hit 2 shots that stemmed the Blazers mini comeback which was nice.
