I remember KPJ doing the same this season, I think against the Spurs even. Signs of truly selfish players.
Zollins is on a mission lately. Dude has been ballin'.

As a player who had two back surgeries before the age of 24, perhaps he should heed an old saying: be nice to people on your way up, because they're the same people you see on the way down.
Another nice outing
Zollins stats since the MPJ ejection:
Robinson-Duncan-Collins
History repeats
We shall see……. Let’s just hope he stays healthy. Nice all around game….
He’s my favorite player on the roster now. And I like his at ude.
I like Zollins and was on the bandwagon at a very early but guaranteeing his contract shouldn’t make him the confirmed 23-24 starter but it’s surely his job to lose.
The laceration on Zach Collins‘ left hand that forced him to miss the final two games of the season wound up requiring surgery, according to Tom Orsborn of The San Antonio Express-News.
The Spurs sent Collins home after he experienced finger swelling following Thursday’s game. Doctors discovered that the cut had become infected and determined that surgery was necessary.
“All the bad stuff is out of it now, so now I just have to recover from the operation,” Collins said. “They had to numb me up pretty good. I wasn’t completely out, but I was pretty loopy and couldn’t feel anything. They went in and pretty much flushed out all the infected stuff that was in the finger and now it is just healing. … I was in the hospital overnight. It was just so much for something so small. It was crazy.”
Health was the only obstacle to this guy’s game. He comes from a good developmental program. You saw in college his potential. I don’t know how much growth there is in his game. However there will be some solely due to having a second healthy summer. What’s more exciting is how well he plays off of guys like Vassell, and if you add in a top pick, especially VW or Scoot, they will in turn just make him better. The signing was a literal no lose, and it’s been a very underrated signing that deserves more league wide recognition
Ummmm…….
There’s plenty in here to revisit
This guy was always a favorite of mine….. I kept him in a jar! It’s time to let you fly again, any bold predictions?
I’ll take the loss on this one. You’re still wrong about Primo though. We got Wemby though so no need to argue over scrub players anymore.
I agree Zollins not a scrub though! Lol
He wasn’t who I was referring to in the last post. All those other scrubs you were hyping up are long gone from the Spurs anyways lol.
Zach was the long bet and long last has now paid off
Spurs definitely did their time and there were doubts during his injury recovery timeline but SA must feel vindicated playing the long gamble and hitting gold
This thread, along with the Collins signing thread, are some treasure chests of gold in terms of evidence why you should never confuse the posters of this website (as wise as they may be at times) with NBA professionals.
NBA "professionals" make lots of bad decisions.
NBA professionals on the spurs also signed demarre carroll
NBA pundits have ESPN agenda, good or bad, on top of watching 500 plus players as compared to zeroing on Spurs’ players only. LJ and some ST posters would be better judges as they watch every Spurs game, practices, interviews, to make a better evaluation of a Spurs player.
Let’s not be petty…lol
