Last December, two people were arrested in the center of Ljubljana on su ion of espionage. The operation was led by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Ljubljana based on a report from the Slovenian Intelligence and Security Agency (Sova). We have unofficially learned that both arrested persons are Russian spies.
“At the District State Prosecutor’s Office in Ljubljana, we received an announcement from the Slovenian Intelligence and Security Agency, on the basis of which pre-trial proceedings were initiated,” the Ljubljana Prosecutor’s Office answered when we asked whether a Russian spy had indeed been arrested in the Slovenian capital. “The criminal investigation has been legally initiated by the court’s decision and is ongoing. The court ordered the detention of both defendants, who were deprived of their liberty on December 5, 2022,” the prosecutor’s office explained, but they could not provide more information due to the confidentiality of the data.

Russians expected to go back on the offensive.
They appear to be putting Wagner and other rag tags units on notice that the Russian MoD will handle this by calling up more troops and trying to extend the conflict so the West gives in eventually.
Another thing that becomes clear upon reading:
The tanks and other fighting vehicles have come too late for a Ukraine Winter offensive and have given the Russians enough pause to get organized.
Not good. Maybe the Ukrainians can apply enough hurt on the Russian offensive to come and then have the tanks ready for their counter offensive in the summer.
I think this slow siphoning of weapons into Ukraine may just get more of Ukraine ruined and more people on the whole dying on both sides. This will allow Russia to add more troops into the conflict to die. If our motive was to prolong the war and add to the death and destruction we might be successful. If the Ukrainians had tanks on the ready to move South and or East this Winter the war might have been essentially over faster and let negotiations begin.
