A little birdie told him that Ukr was going into NATO (imminently) and that if Russia was going to get their back now was the time, the last time.

We give grants but I think EU mostly gives loans when it comes to financial aid. And of course we're far and away the biggest donors when it comes to military aid. Seems like we always carry the burden...

We have "fiscal conservatives" in congress who seem determined to get our annual national defense budget to $1 Trillion while our country has $30+ trillion in debt. I think we're in trouble.
On the plus side, there are strong sales/interest in US armament and technology because of the war, so there is that.
That's how we got into this to begin with...instead of praising Russia for doing the wet work on White people, we plotted against them and planned their wholesale (execution) "as long as we're here let's end Russia."
