Wow! What a disaster. George W. Bush.... the gift that keeps on giving. Republicans used to always ask "would you rather Saddam still be in power?". At this point, "YES" -- especially if it meant we were never there and didn't burn through trillions of dollars, lose thousands of american military and Iraqi civilian lives, and destabilize the whole region to boot. Things may not have been perfect before, but they are a complete epic storm right now; and this after all we sacrificed.

We don't know that for a fact. Russia invaded Finland in the Winter War and Finland ceded territory (in fact, like 10% of country) for peace. Russia hasn't invaded Finland since.

We don't need to give $10s of billions more in new promises. Let Europe do it if they think it's actually worth it. I want us to scale down the support dramatically and reset Ukraine's expectations. Then maybe more lives can be saved too.

I have no idea what you're on about now. Hitler died in 1945. Do you think he's still alive? There has been peace between Finland and Russia for 80+ years.

Russia could have tried again to invade in 2015 or 2008 or many other years without concern for Hitler.
