Moscow warns of end to Russia-U.S. relations if assets seized - TASS
Any possible seizure of Russian assets by the United States will completely destroy Moscow's bilateral relations with Washington, TASS quoted the head of the North American Department at the Russian foreign ministry as saying on Saturday.
Russia's relations with the West have deteriorated sharply since Moscow sent tens of thousands of troops into Ukraine on Feb. 24, calling it a "special military operation".
The West responded with unprecedented economic, financial and diplomatic sanctions, including freezing around half of Russia's gold and foreign exchange reserves that stood near $640 billion before Feb. 24.
Top Western officials, including European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, have suggested seizing the frozen reserves to help fund the future reconstruction of Ukraine.
"We warn the Americans of the detrimental consequences of such actions that will permanently damage bilateral relations, which is neither in their nor in our interests," Alexander Darchiev told TASS in an interview.

Russia leaves 20,000 soldiers stranded in tactical withdrawal to the west
Russia has begun withdrawing troops across a key river to escape a Ukrainian counter offensive, Ukrainian officials claimed yesterday.
Vitaly Kim, the governor of Mykolayiv district, said the entire Russian command staff was retreating from the west bank of the Dnipro river that flows through the occupied city of Kherson in the south east.
That would leave an estimated 20,000 or more Russian soldiers isolated from their commanders and cut off from supply lines by the half-mile-wide river, over which the main bridges in the Kherson region have been damaged by Ukrainian attacks.

The observer on utube known as Suchomimus stated that those explosions in the sky were Russian SAMS missing. But one might have found its mark.
But 5 HIMARS got through to the bridge. The bridge was struck on both ends.
There some really good analysts who put up info they have received and analyzed. Both Satellite images and based on cameras.
This particular guy tells you what he thinks and why he thinks so and any doubts he has about other claims or why his own claims might be inaccurate due to lack of info or analysis. short and sweet
They’re mercenaries, so once Putin ups the ante they’ll be back in the fight. They can name their price too, since Russia is six months behind schedule (according to some initial prognostications on here) and the regular army is horribly inefficient, given their resources
Happy Army day. learned a bit new about polish history here.
Pretty much. RUS is still inching forward a bit in the east, but seems to have ground to a halt there.
UKR looks like it is isolating Kherson and its garrison on one side of a river. Give it another week or so of frontline units not getting enough food/ammo on that side of hte river, and they will be primed for getting steam rollered. If UKR has any bridging assets to get across that river quickly, we could see the same kind of pushback as they did around Kharkiv.
RUS appears to be having more and more problems putting new units together. Their front lines are filled with men who have almost zero motivation, which does not make for stiff defending.
they aren't even mercenaries in many cases. many have been simply rounded up and actively conscripted.
