Oh, the horror of a restroom marked "WC." Why haven't putler's fans posted this outrage?
But at least it is not marked "WC'"
Is this a pivot? Or just clumsy wording?
A bit later in the interview Blinken seems to dodge a direct follow up question on Crimea with nonspecified avowals to help Ukraine get back land seized.
https://www.state.gov/secretary-anto...ouncil-summit/SECRETARY BLINKEN: Our focus is on continuing to do what we’ve been doing, which is to make sure that Ukraine has in its hands what it needs to defend itself, what it needs to push back against the Russian aggression, to take back territory that’s been seized from it since February 24th, to make sure as well that it has the support economically and on a humanitarian basis to withstand what’s happening in the country every single day. That’s our focus.
how fitting

Russia's war on Ukraine latest news: Belarus says moving troops
Belarus said on Wednesday
it was moving troops and military hardware
to counteract what it called a terrorism threat,
amid signs Moscow could be pressuring Minsk to open a new front in the war against Ukraine.

https://tradingeconomics.com/commodity/urals-oilRussian Urals crude oil was around $57 a barrel in the second week of December, the lowest since January of 2021, trading at a discount of about $20 to the international Brent crude oil benchmark. Rising freight costs for tankers carrying Russian oil to China and India, the main seaborne importers this year, pushed prices down, with many shipowners refraining from handling Russian oil as the price cap and the EU ban on Russian oil imports went into effect on December 5th. G7 countries, the EU and Australia agreed on a $60 a barrel price cap for Russian seaborne oil in an attempt to reduce Russian ability to continue financing the war in Ukraine. The Kremlin already said is considering setting a price floor for its oil sales as a response. Urals oil price remains nearly half of $111 touched in early March when the war in Ukraine started.
time person of the year doesnt go to the "best person of the year"
they even define it as the person who "for better or worse has done the most to influence the events of the year"
Damn, this guy has Putler by the balls... he's a bad mofo...
He also said that Ukraine has every right to take back its territory, its Ukraine's decision.
It was then noted that Ukraine wants Crimea back and he again stated its Ukraine's decision.
It may be a way of decreasing US funding and asking more from Europe. Its pretty clear that most European nations in NATO are giving a larger % of money to Ukraine based on their defense spending. Ukraine said it would consider peace and negotiations after it regain all of its territories. And that Russia would pledge never to attack Ukraine territory again. Negotiations would involve Russia paying for damages and war crime procedural set ups.
Blinken is playing diplomat. Which is what he is supposed to be doing. My take is Ukraine wants Crimea back. If they have to militarily take it back, they will attempt to do so.
I would add to this that the way in which Russia is governed after this mess is of concern to the US.
I dont think we want Putin completely out of power as there are Nationalistic elements in Russia that would completely destroy Russia in order to win this war, because they consider it a real war in which all Russia should take part in.
I dont think the US fantasizes that Russia will somehow become a peaceful country and more of a democracy after this mess.

Yeah by the balls with his mouth
What happened nigas? Last week Western media said Putler fell down his stairs and himself due to his advanced cancer and parkinsons
What happened? Whynis he still giving interviews?
Bakhmut will likely fall before the New Year
But after Crimea
From what I have read it does not have much strategic importance and has become an easy way to kill Russians so Ukraine is not so concerned.
They get to kill many Russians.
