Clever also how you conveniently cropped out the Republican section of that same chart, which is longer.
The truth hurts. Republicans love to put celebrities into office, despite also being the ones most likely to say celebrities should stay out of politics. There's no hypocrisy in Democrats running celebrities, and yet they're far less likely to do so.
Since 2000, off the top of my head:
Donald Trump (President), Tommy Tuberville (US Senator), Arnold Schwartzeneggar (Governor), Dan Patrick (Lietenant Governor), Hershel Walker (US Senate Candidate)
vs.
Al Franken (Senate), Clay Aiken (House candidate)
It's not even close.
