Probably worse trades out there for White. I firmly believe the Spurs look out for their homegrown players and where they send them. White gets to go play for coach Udoka again.

I haven't really watched much of Josh Richardson. How long has he been in the league and how does he compare to White? I guess Ime knows White, so he was the one that probably wanted White. As much as I was disappointed in White, I think it's a great trade for Boston.

Kai Jones looks exactly like the type of raw lump of clay that the Spurs specialize in sculpting up. Just a matter of them thinking they like or want the project.

Spurs also are super star shy after Kawhi diva'd out so I could see them favoring project types that might tend to demonstrate loyalty vs. getting limelight hungry.

People are calling a bogus trade, but I hope it goes thru. I like Kai Jones as a project big. I think Spurs might have saw something in him and now the opportunity comes.

I don’t get Hornets wanting Jakob though. I see him as a win now piece for contenders.
